Our message to the US anti-choice groups? You're wrong. Suggest you look at your own country's abuse of your citizens' human rights before wading across what you like to call 'the pond' to manufacture this claim.

Do you remember when you joined X? We do! Just three years before the Abortion Reform Act 2019 was signed into #isleofman law #MyXAnniversary

At a time of global threats to reproductive rights it is encouraging to see successful feminist campaigns overturn decades of regressive policies. Abortion=Healthcare and should not be treated as a criminal act.
“It’s really positive to see MPs vote to make a long overdue change to the law and decriminalise abortion. The RCGP, alongside many others, has been calling for this important change since 2019. “Many GPs will have been highly concerned to see high profile cases in recent years where women have been investigated or brought to trial for pregnancy terminations, or unexpected and unexplained pregnancy losses, when what they needed most was support through what will likely be an incredibly difficult time. “No woman should face prosecution under antiquated laws that were created before women were even allowed to vote. This change in the law is a vital piece of protection for the reproductive and health rights of women.” Statement from @KamilaRCGP on the most significant change to our abortion law since the 1967 Abortion Act.

ACTION: Please sign and share this petition to protect vulnerable women and girls from prosecution under our archaic abortion law. We need just over 2,000 more signatures to secure a debate in parliament on the desperate need for legal reform. petition.parliament.uk/petit…

Today's Observer covering why safe access zones around abortion clinics are so essential - “Some of the protesters had huge placards with graphic images of foetuses. Others held candlelit vigils and said prayers. One scattered baby clothes in the bushes." theguardian.com/world/2025/f…

We are proud to have safe access zones written into the 2019 Abortion Reform Act in #isleofman
When we said the US anti-abortion extremists had their sights set on the UK, we really weren't kidding. Across Britain, Parliaments voted for these laws to protect women. We're not backing down. #prochoice #antiharassment #backoff

We'd like to say unbelievable but... 😡
The Court of Appeals in Warsaw has ordered a retrial in Justyna's case. "The only outcome I would consider a victory today would have been if this court had said: 'yes, you are innocent'," said Justyna following the ruling. More: bit.ly/3X02Qs1

And so says the #isleofman which decriminalised abortion *and* introduced buffer zones in 2019.
Thanking @BigIssue for covering more than one side of the Safe Access Zone story. And for letting me say "If the government really cares about protecting women’s access to abortion, they will decriminalise it.” AMEN.

Safe buffer zones’ around abortion clinics and providers have today come into force in England and Wales. Many campaigners have welcomed the change. ✅ But abortion access remains “deeply uneven”, some campaigners have warned. 📢 @LottieElton reports. ⬇️ bigissue.com/news/social-jus…

Although it is easy to assume this won't happen, it is reminder that abortion laws across the world are fluid, and can be changed if the will is there. We fought hard to change the law in 2019, and will fight again if necessary. #isleofman #AbortionReformAct2019
