This is the poster child for why nbdev exists 😍👏👏✨
Replying to @borisdayma
I don't like writing tests but nbdev makes it more simple and useful: interactive, easy to debug, close to real case scenario and great for documenting. They actually become the easiest way to understand what a function is supposed to do (which is not the case with pytest…)

If you're using Colab and you feel like training your model on GPU is slow, switch to the TPU runtime and tune the "steps_per_execution" parameter in compile(). Seeing a 5-10x speedup is pretty common.

This release was SO much work! Glad to finally have it out 🍻 The big impact for users will definitely be the transformer models and config system, but I want to talk about a feature I wasn't expecting to build until a few months ago: the new workflow system, spaCy Projects 🧵

I couldn't find a complete index to every module, function and class in the Python standard library all in one easy-to-browse place. So I made one. It's kinda fun to browse around and see what's there! Click here --> gist.github.com/jph00/d5981f…

This library is totally amazing. I suspect that everyone building neural nets is going to want this in their life.
Introducing TensorSensor: a lib that clarifies exceptions by augmenting messages + visualizing Python code to indicate shape of tensor variables; works with Tensorflow, PyTorch, Numpy, and higher-level libraries like Keras and fastai. Article: explained.ai/tensor-sensor/i…

Transfer learning in GANs! By just unfreezing last few layers of discriminator, you can get pretty good results. Simple=win 🥇 I'm curious if a "best" transfer learning scheme in GANs will ever emerge. Good overview of other techniques too arxiv.org/abs/2002.10964
