🏦 Citi Enables Stablecoin Payments for Institutional Clients
@Citi and @Coinbase have launched a service allowing companies using Citi’s merchant acquiring network to accept stablecoin payments.
Customers pay onchain through Coinbase infrastructure, while Citi converts the stablecoin into fiat, settles the transaction and delivers dollars directly into the company’s existing banking flow.
The setup connects Coinbase’s blockchain payment rails with Citi’s network spanning 94 markets and more than 300 clearing systems, targeting B2B payments that originate in tokenized dollars but need to settle into traditional bank accounts. bitcoin:native

A $300M+ Exchange Hack Recovery, a 47.69% Supply Unlock, and an 85% Altcoin Surge Are All Landing in the Same Seven Days.
Here's Your Crypto Watchlist for September 28 to October 4.
$BGB: Bitget is gradually resuming withdrawals after a hack that cost over $300M. Bitcoin withdrawals restarted Sept 28, Ethereum and other networks reopen Sept 29, and full resumption including fiat and OTC is expected by Oct 2
$QNT: surged over 85% to break above $285 on Sept 28, driven by the Sept 24 announcement that Quant will provide technical support for The Clearing House's on-chain money program
$SOL: the Alpenglow consensus upgrade moved to public testnet Sept 23-25, targeting finality cut from ~12.8 seconds to 150ms, with a tentative mainnet feature activation on Sept 28 (not a confirmed Alpenglow launch date). SOL traded at $120.15, up 12.2% on the week, backed by an $86.67M single-day ETF inflow and a record $17.63B in on-chain stablecoin supply
$FF: unlocking ~77.14M tokens (~$10.2M, 2.51% of circulating supply) on Sept 29
$CARDS: unlocking ~59.26M tokens (~$10.7M, 10.62% of circulating supply) on Sept 30
$KMNO: unlocking ~229M tokens (~$10.8M, 2.81% of circulating supply) on Sept 30
$SUI: unlocking ~13.26M tokens (~$16.7M, 0.32% of circulating supply) on Oct 1
$EIGEN: unlocking ~36.82M tokens (~$10.3M, 5.19% of circulating supply) on Oct 1
$2Z: unlocking ~1.66B tokens (~$114M) on Oct 2, a staggering 47.69% of circulating supply and the largest unlock of the week by both value and percentage
$ENA: the final major investor unlock of ~40.63M tokens (~$11M, 0.45% of supply) lands Oct 2. A much larger consolidated release of ~1.41B ENA (~$212M, 14.3% of supply) follows on Oct 5
$2Z's unlock stands out as the biggest supply shock of the week, with nearly half its circulating supply hitting the market at once.
$ENA's consolidated Oct 5 release is bigger in dollar terms at ~$212M and lands just outside the window, so it's worth watching as the week closes.
Which matters more to you this week, the unlock pressure on $2Z and $ENA, or the momentum behind $QNT and $SOL?

CHART PATTERNS MASTERY COURSE: MODULE 6: ADVANCED PRICE ACTION | DAY 37
PUTTING SMC TOGETHER: One Clean Top Down Read
Structure, liquidity, a shift, then a precise entry. This is how the pieces click into one trade.
THE FULL SMC SEQUENCE:
1️⃣ STRUCTURE SETS THE BIAS: Map highs and lows on the higher timeframe. Trade with that trend.
2️⃣ LIQUIDITY IS THE TARGET: Mark the pools above highs and below lows price is drawn to.
3️⃣ THE SWEEP AND SHIFT: Wait for a liquidity grab, then a CHoCH that signals the turn.
4️⃣ THE PRECISE ENTRY: Enter at the order block or fair value gap left by the shift.
THE TOP DOWN APPROACH:
ALIGN THE TIMEFRAMES:
▪️ HIGH TF: Set the bias and direction. Where is the big liquidity.
▪️ MID TF: Find the structure shift and the zone to trade from.
▪️ LOW TF: Refine the entry on the order block or FVG retest.
THE GOLDEN RULE OF SMC: Do not force it. Only take the trade when the pieces align. A clean setup beats ten messy ones.
DAY 37 KEY TAKEAWAYS
🔹 Structure sets your bias first
🔹 Liquidity is the target price seeks
🔹 Sweep plus CHoCH signals the shift
🔹 Order block or FVG gives the entry

CHART PATTERNS MASTERY COURSE: MODULE 6: ADVANCED PRICE ACTION | DAY 36
FAIR VALUE GAPS: The Imbalance Price Returns To Fill
A fast move leaves a gap between wicks. Price often comes back to fill it.
WHAT IS AN FVG:
A Fair Value Gap is a three candle imbalance. Price moves so fast that the wicks of candle one and candle three leave a gap around the big middle candle. That gap is inefficient pricing.
HOW TO SPOT ONE:
1️⃣ Find a large impulsive candle with candles on each side.
2️⃣ Check if the first and third wicks do not overlap.
3️⃣ The empty space between them is the fair value gap.
TRADING THE GAP:
WHY PRICE RETURNS:
1️⃣ The gap is unfinished business. Not all orders were filled.
2️⃣ Price often returns to fill the gap before continuing.
3️⃣ The gap acts as a support or resistance zone on the retest.
THE POWER COMBO: An FVG that lines up with an order block is a high probability zone. Enter as price fills into it, stop beyond the gap.
DAY 36 KEY TAKEAWAYS
🔹 FVG is a three candle imbalance
🔹 The outer wicks do not overlap
🔹 Price returns to fill the gap
🔹 Pair with an order block for edge

An important follow-up to this.
Nigeria is now openly targeting a return to:
investment-grade credit status.
That is a much bigger target than Moody’s latest positive outlook.
And the distance still matters.
Nigeria’s current Moody’s rating:
B3
Lowest investment-grade rating:
Baa3
The path between them is:
B3 → B2 → B1 → Ba3 → Ba2 → Ba1 → Baa3
So Nigeria is still six rating notches away from Moody’s investment-grade threshold.
That puts yesterday’s positive outlook into perspective.
It is progress.
But it is the beginning of a much longer credit-repair story, not the finish line.
The government itself is identifying the right bottlenecks:
• stronger domestic revenue
• better spending efficiency
• improved debt affordability
• continued external stability
Finance Minister Taiwo Oyedele says these are the areas Nigeria must improve if it wants to move toward investment grade.
My read is that revenue and debt affordability will become much more important than reserves from here.
Nigeria has already made visible progress on:
FX liquidity,
external reserves,
current-account strength,
and market accessibility.
Those improvements can help move the rating upward.
But investment grade requires something deeper:
the government must become structurally better at converting economic activity into sustainable fiscal revenue without creating another drag on households and businesses.
That distinction matters.
Higher tax rates alone would not necessarily solve the problem.
A broader formal economy, better compliance, stronger non-oil activity and more efficient government spending would.
In the short term, I think another rating upgrade becomes increasingly plausible if the external position holds.
Longer term, I would judge the investment-grade ambition by one thing:
Can Nigeria improve government revenue and debt affordability while still allowing private-sector growth to accelerate?
If that happens, the rating upgrades will follow the economy.
If it does not, investment grade will remain more ambition than trajectory.
Nigeria just received another important external signal.
Moody’s has changed the country’s sovereign outlook:
Stable → Positive
while keeping the actual credit rating at:
B3
That distinction matters.
Nigeria has not received another rating upgrade yet.
But Moody’s is effectively saying the direction of travel has improved enough that an upgrade could follow if recent gains are sustained.
Why?
The agency highlighted:
• stronger FX reserves
• sizeable current-account surpluses
• better FX market functioning
• stronger-than-expected economic growth
• gradually higher oil production
Moody’s expects Nigeria’s current-account surplus to reach around 6.1% of GDP in 2026, while FX reserves excluding gold, SDRs and the IMF position had risen to roughly $44.4bn in June, from $31.2bn a year earlier.
This comes immediately after another major development:
Nigeria’s confirmed return to the FTSE Frontier Market universe from September 21.
Put the two together.
FTSE is saying:
Nigeria’s capital market has become accessible enough for international investors again.
Moody’s is saying:
Nigeria’s external financial position has become resilient enough to justify a more positive sovereign-credit outlook.
Those are different assessments.
But they are pointing in the same direction.
Nigeria’s external financial architecture is improving.
That does not mean the reform story is finished.
Moody’s kept the country at B3 for a reason.
Government revenue was only around 10% of GDP in 2025, which remains exceptionally low, while debt affordability is still weak.
So the next challenge is much harder.
Nigeria has made progress in:
• FX stability
• reserve accumulation
• market accessibility
• external balances
Now those improvements need to translate into:
• higher productive investment
• stronger government revenue
• cheaper capital
• business growth
and ultimately better household incomes.
A positive Moody’s outlook is not prosperity.
But when FTSE, S&P and now Moody’s all start acknowledging measurable improvements in Nigeria’s financial position, it becomes harder to dismiss the macro stabilisation as just a headline story.
The stabilisation phase is becoming visible.
The next test is whether Nigerians begin to feel it in the real economy.

BitGo CEO Mike Belshe put 100 $BTC ($6.3M) in a public wallet and told Anthropic's AI to come take it.
3 days later: untouched.
The nuance nobody mentions:
🔹 Anthropic itself called the incident an operational failure, no zero-day
🔹 BitGo needs 2 of 3 keys and can't sign alone
🔹 This tests custody design, not AI power
Every big crypto loss came from keys, humans and infrastructure, never broken cryptography.

Crypto + Macro Stuff I'm Looking At Today
...
- Iran tensions back up
- Oil at $86.97
- $QQQ down but still over $700
- $ETH outperforming $BTC over last month, up 11% vs 2.5%, respectively
- Robinhood Chain has apparently flipped Base in active wallets (h/t my bro @Flowslikeosmo - make sure to give him a follow!)
- Bitcoin and gold remain the two worst-performing major assets this year
- Crypto Fear & Greed Index up into the 30's now though interestingly
- Lots of speculation re: Clarity Act passing soon, with Bessent saying lawmakers are "at the 1 yard line" in regards to passing it - ie about to do so, for you non American football enjoyers )
- According to Certik there were 52 verified wrench attacks in Q1 and Q2 of this year, resulting in $124.1 million in losses
- Morpho launching 'Midnight', their new fixed rate lending protocol
- Mantle turns 3 years old seeing lots of success with its RWA efforts
- Telegram is unveiling a new non-custodial wallet
- Movement Labs bankruptcy is generating all sorts of contentious debate
- Derive launching its new V3
- noble_xyz is shutting down (h/t my bro @flb_xyz - make sure to give him a follow!)
- Variational seems to still be #1 prospective airdrop right now
- Some smaller airdrop opportunities I'm seeing lots of smart folks post about include: arcus_xyz, perpltrade, and risextrade
- Balaji announces a new Network School campus in Kazakhstan (apparently Malaysia revoked its license or something?)
- In related meanderings... I'm insanely bullish on Central Asia over the next 10-20 years... think Kazakhstan and a lot of similar countries are going to do exceptionally well...
- US real estate continues to suffer... especially vacation rental folks, multifamily syndicators, self-storage syndicators, etc
- And of course office real estate is totally dead, but that is more for idiosyncratic reasons (rise of remote work and online economy) vs the macro stuff
- US 10 year Treasury yields spiking like crazy, now up to 4.663%
Conclusion
Re: the above, I do not think Warsh and Bessent and Trump can let the 10 year stay this high for very long...
Whether via ratcheting Iran stuff back down or else via Treasury shenanigannery or else via Fed doing something, in one way or another they gotta get down closer to 4% or we'll start seeing dysfunction...
The fact that stocks and crypto are both doing as well as they are given how high long-duration bond yields are suggests to me they are really coiled to spring higher...
So yeah... quite bullish on net for next few months, but as always- markets are very much political these days, so it will really depend on Trump/Warsh/Bessent...
Either way though keep getting after it my dear anon 💪

☢️ THE URANIUM RACE: Meta, Amazon and Microsoft are now signing for nuclear power the way they used to sign for cloud contracts. The uranium to feed all of it does not exist yet.
This is the railroads moment for the AI buildout, and the market is still pricing it like a boring utility.
Uranium is having the strangest bull market I've ever watched. The price ripped past 101 dollars in January, then fell asleep for six months while the spot tape did nothing.
Meanwhile governments kept announcing reactors and the hyperscalers kept signing for nuclear power like it was cloud compute. The demand side is screaming and the price is whispering.
URANIUM MINERS
The miners are the leverage trade. When a scarce commodity finally reprices, the companies pulling it out of the ground earn on every pound at the new price while their costs barely move. That's why this group runs harder than the metal itself in every cycle. It's also why it falls harder when sentiment turns.
The catch is that not all of them are actually mining yet. Some are producers with real pounds and signed contracts. Others are developers selling a story about pounds that show up at the end of the decade. In a market this early, I'd rather own the ones already delivering into a rising term price than the ones still permitting a hole in the ground.
Tickers: $CCJ , $UEC , $NXE , $DNN and $UUUU
🪨 PHYSICAL URANIUM
This is the purest way to own the thesis. No mines, no drills, no management team fumbling a ramp. Just pounds of uranium sitting in a vault and a share price that tracks them. If you believe the metal reprices and you don't want to bet on any single operator's execution, this is the cleanest expression there is.
The tradeoff is you give up the leverage. Physical goes up with the metal and not a dollar more, while a good miner multiplies it. So I think of this layer as the anchor, not the moonshot. It's where you park conviction when you want to be right about uranium without having to be right about a company.
Tickers: $SRUUF and $UROY
☢️ NUCLEAR UTILITIES
These are the buyers who cannot walk away. A reactor needs fuel whether the spot price is 40 dollars or 140, and the operators running the fleet have to keep the lights on for millions of people. That's the demand floor under this entire market. It does not blink.
What changed is that these operators went from nobody's favorite stock to the cleanest AI trade on the board. The data center buildout needs power that runs all day and all night, and only one carbon free source does that at scale today. Owning the fleet is owning the toll booth on that demand. Slower than the miners, far more durable.
Tickers: $CEG , $VST , $DUK and $SO
🔋 REACTOR TECHNOLOGY
This is the lottery ticket layer, and I mean that as a compliment. Small modular reactors and advanced designs are the bet that the next wave of nuclear looks nothing like the giant plants of the past. Factory built, smaller, faster to site, dropped right next to the thing that needs the power.
Be honest about what you're buying here. Most of these companies have more PowerPoint than revenue, and the timelines are long and slippery. But if even one design becomes the standard the hyperscalers order by the dozen, the winner is enormous. High risk and genuinely asymmetric. Size it small.
Tickers: $OKLO , $SMR , $GEV , $BWXT and $RYCEY
📈 URANIUM ETFS
If picking the individual layer sounds like work, this is the shortcut. One ticker buys the whole basket and you stop worrying about which miner missed guidance or which reactor startup slipped another year. For most people who just want exposure to the trend, this is the honest answer.
The difference between them matters more than people think. Some lean into the big producers, some hunt the tiny juniors, some blend in the reactor and utility names for a broader nuclear bet. Pick the one whose tilt matches your appetite. A junior heavy fund and a diversified nuclear fund are two completely different rides.
Tickers: $URA , $URNM , $URNJ , $NLR and $NUKZ
🔎 FOREIGN LISTED (flagged separately, not on US exchanges)
$KAP.L is Kazatomprom, the largest uranium producer on earth. The map had it under physical uranium, but it's a miner, the biggest one there is. Listed in London and Astana. Trades over the counter in the US as NATKY.
$YCA.L is Yellow Cake, a pure physical holder just like the Sprott trust. Listed in London. Over the counter in the US as YLLXF.
$U.UN is the Toronto listing of the exact same Sprott Physical Uranium Trust as above. Same pounds, same trust. Two tickers.
🧠 FINAL THOUGHTS
My honest take after mapping the whole thing: the crowd is loud about the miners and quiet about the two layers that matter most. The physical trusts, Sprott and Yellow Cake, are the cleanest way to be right about the metal without gambling on a single company. And the utilities, Constellation and its peers, are the demand that literally cannot quit, now wearing an AI costume the market is only starting to price.
Here's the claim I'll defend in the replies. The reactor technology names are where both the fortunes and the wipeouts live, and most people buying them have no idea which one they actually own. NuScale, Oklo, BWX Technologies and Rolls Royce are not the same bet in different wrappers. One of them might print. The rest are options that expire worthless if the timelines keep slipping.

Researching some stables yields now.
An interesting one are @pendle_fi PTs, and the reUSD markets.
It's 10.18% or 16.64% fixed until December, depending on which tranche you pick.
The yield comes from real-world reinsurance premiums via @re. Not emissions, not points, not someone else's leverage.
• PT-reUSD → 10.18% fixed, senior tranche, gets paid first if things go wrong
• PT-reUSDe → 16.64% fixed, mezzanine tranche, higher yield because you're absorbing losses before the senior does
So it's basically a question of what you're comfortable holding for 156 days.
I lean senior for the bulk and I'm still deciding if the extra 6% is worth the mezzanine exposure. Honestly haven't landed on it yet.
One thing worth watching are the borrow rates on Morpho.
Right now USDC borrow against PT-reUSD is sitting at 8.87%, so looping the position barely pays. But if that rate drops back to the 4$-5%, the spread reopens and you can leverage the fixed yield.
The risks are the usual PT stack. Exit before maturity and you're selling into whatever liquidity exists (reUSDe's pool is the thinner one). And you're trusting re's reinsurance book plus Pendle's contracts on top of it.
Nothing crazy here, just fixed yield with a known end date, which is kinda rare in a market where every variable rate keeps getting repriced out from under you.

SAM ALTMAN JUST DESCRIBED A FUTURE WHERE A SINGLE PERSON OPERATES LIKE A 1,000-PERSON COMPANY.
According to Altman, the AI we use today is still the “black-and-white cellphone” era.
Primitive compared to what is coming next.
The future is not one chatbot.
It is entire teams of AI agents:
AI programmers.
AI lawyers.
AI marketers.
AI researchers.
AI strategists.
Not replacing one task. Replacing organizational leverage itself.
And this is the shift most people are underestimating:
The bottleneck is no longer access to intelligence.
It is the ability to direct it.
A teenager with AI agents could eventually build faster than entire companies can today.
That changes software engineering permanently.
That changes startups permanently.
That changes careers permanently.
Altman also pointed out something governments learned very quickly:
The countries and schools that embraced AI early benefited faster than the ones trying to ban it.
Teachers who feared ChatGPT ended up using it to improve learning.
Governments experimenting with AI services increased adoption and productivity.
The same pattern is now happening inside companies.
The people resisting AI are slowly becoming less competitive than the people learning how to orchestrate it.
And according to Altman, we are still early.
“Give us a few more years.”
That was his answer when asked how close we are to truly transformative systems.
Not decades.
Years.
The people learning AI agents today are preparing for a world most people still think sounds impossible.
