🚨New Video Alert
It seems every major media outlet is trying to convince the world that anyone who bets on sports has a gambling problem.
It's time to talk back.😤

Are prediction markets a place where rec bettors are lambs to the slaughter?
@DeanSisun of @ProphetX doesn't think so.
@capjack2000 sat down with Sisun, @a_kane47 of @sporttrade_app, @irishro of @TeamMatchbook, @BigBuckHunterrr of @magtradingHQ and @samschwartz71 of The PM Pulse for an in-depth conversation about how they got to where they are, what the journey to building prediction markets has been like, and where we're headed.

We tracked about 11,000 alerts last year against a popular news service and Unabated was first to report over 86% of the time.
That means you're getting to lines before the books respond.
Why would WINNING bettors OPPOSE Responsible Gaming initiatives??? 🤔
Because operators can use them as a SHIELD for keeping out winning bettors.🛡️
Wait until you get a load of this⤵️
This is the RG control panel of a winning user at @HardRockBet in NJ who contacted me:
This is in NJ. A state which was once the gold standard for consumer protection in regulated gambling.
However, ever since the state closed down much of the DGE, the operators are running amok. 😒

This video was very well done. 👏
If you read the @propublica story from @JakePearsonProP, consider this a behind-the-scenes documentary. Great job by all involved, especially @roundrobin42!

One of my favorite videos that @UnabatedSports has ever done.
While the downsides of sports betting are very real and should not be ignored, there is a lot of entertainment value and relationships that stem from responsibly utilizing the industry.
I have made tons of friends, both virtually and in my real life, through both micro- and macro-level discussions on sports betting strategies, experiences, and just plain sweating out a game together.
It's not about downplaying the consequences and risks of problem gambling. It's about seeing the good that can also come from it, whether you are a recreational bettor or a sharp bettor.
The movement on PHI/JAX this week shows how powerful cluster injuries are. A starting RB is worth about 1-1.5 pts, but two RB's out is more impactful. An OL maybe worth a point, but multiple OL is huge.
From -3.5 to -7.5 is a big jump but the 8 & 9 don't offer much resistance either.
The @MasseyPeabody ratings for Week 5 are up and it's still the NFC West's world.
But the big story of the week is the Jags-Eagles game, with JAX opening -3.5 at Circa and now all the way out to -7.5.
Jags are at 5.99 in the ratings and Philly is at -0.58. In London, that gives a number of Jacksonville -6.57. Has the market overcorrected?

Excellent reporting @GunjanJS 👏
These small “garage band”-type market makers are precisely the sort of participants that are *completely banned* in the state regulated online sportsbook market.
Why?
- they’re trading electronically (not contemplated by state regs)
- they often form small companies to trade (corporate betting is expressly prohibited by states)
