ALT We were instantly floored by the strength and energy that Waweru brought to her performance of Cassie. Cassie needs a hunger, a laser-honed focus, as someone who is walking a tightrope with no safety net. Hanjoong brought the same hunger. There has to be an intensity to someone that has the audacity to peek out from under the stairs when the world is ready to step on their head. They were the heart, soul, and conscience (dare we even say the main characters???) of the whole story. That’s a huge burden to throw on two people who are asked to play servants.

ALT Woodreaux is portraying one of Austen’s biggest heartthrobs. Who didn’t want Mr. Darcy to whisk them away when they first read Pride and Prejudice? In this sequel to the book we get to see the softer side to dreamy but cold Darcy. Woodreaux made us forget all that we had seen before and swept us away all over again. Lizzy is often the incarnation for all of us who don’t think we fit in often her choices have befuddled Ricky. Barger showed a more human side to Lizzy that eventually won them over. Kudos for showing us the cuddly side to the Darcy family.
