“Babar, c’est moi,” he often said. By all accounts, artist and elephant shared the same Gallic urbanity and optimistic outlook.

“The business world is ready for whatever comes after this broken capitalist system…The more disruption..the faster we can bring about change.”
Excited to hear from Stuart and Rudy on coaching for URG at the #evolutionallhands in Venice. Wishing we had @ShitFacilitator here to live tweet this gathering all week. @EvolutionSvc
More from Ben Rattray of Change.org on the power of doing corporate values work:
“I would encourage anyone working with a coach to focus on refining values. It has enormous downstream effects for the company.” @EvolutionSvc #evolutionallhands
Excited to be at #EvolutionAllHands in Venice.
Love insight from Change.org founder Ben Rattray re early days low points:
“The shadow I cast by being overly positive (produced) the negative by-product of not looking honestly at the basic business.” @EvolutionSvc

"By 2031 most California homeowners will save money by going off the grid as solar and battery costs fall and utility rates increase."
IOW, in less than a decade, being off-grid will be cheaper than being on the grid!

Plenty to pay attention to today. But this is important long-term: Insufficient information about flooding costs U.S. homebuyers billions. bloomberg.com/news/articles/… via @business
Policy makers can't assume existing renewables will be here tomorrow if they continue to compete with subsidized fossil fuels.
The support of NY existing renewable energy producers helps balance the need to rely on fossil fuels- encouraging a faster transition to meeting New York's #ClimateGoals of 70% renewable energy by 2030
Hot year, naturally, but looks like Colorado has had the biggest departure to the cold side in the whole world! #luckyguy

Still so jarring to see this type of communication coming from a public utility. But it won't be in a few more years. #publicpower #newnormal #utilities
Be weather aware - If forecasts indicate gusty winds and dry conditions, combined with a heightened fire risk, it may be necessary for us to turn off the electricity serving that area. Learn the role weather plays in a Public Safety Power Shutoff #PSPS: pge.com/weather
Hydropower is clean. Holding big pools of water behind dams is environmentally dubious. Run-of-river hydro has none of the problems cited by @EnvDefenseFund; many dams for flood control & recreation don't generate power, but have all of them. Let's have the right conversation.
An interesting look at the environmental impacts of hydro power from @EnvDefenseFund blogs.edf.org/energyexchange…
I agree with @americanrivers CEO @wrirvin8. Hydro owners/developers need to work with environmental orgs, not against them. And vice versa. Balancing impactful environmental restoration and clean power generation is hard but essential. #riverwatchers #hydropower
“Examples that point the way to a new approach to reconciling hydropower production with healthy river ecosystems are already a reality.” -@wrirvin8 @thehill bit.ly/33m0wxL
