CardGrade is a 16-zone photo pre-screen that estimates PSA, BGS and CGC outcomes in about 60 seconds. It is not an official grade, authentication or appraisal. Eligible new accounts can try one first grade free.

Dark area, glare, crop or soft focus are photo limits. They are not card conclusions. Recapture or get a second view before deciding what the image means.
A blurry corner is not proof of damage. It is an unanswered question. Retake the photo under steady light or leave the area unknown.
A front photo is one view. A back photo is another. Capture both fully in frame before deciding what the images actually show.
Before the corner close-up, take the full-card photo. Keep every edge and all four corners in frame. A crop is missing evidence, not a card conclusion.
Glare can turn a visible area into an unknown. Take one straight-on photo, then tilt the card under soft light. Better evidence first. Not a final grade.
Centering kills a 10. Predicted, not official. Link in bio.

Surface issues are easy to miss because a photo can look sharp and still hide glare.
Before you submit a card—or use any image-based pre-screen—tilt the light, then take a second image from a slightly different angle.
If this card comes back a 7, you just lit $150 on fire. Pre-grade first. #cardgrading #psa
Before you submit, check the four quiet problems that are easiest to miss: centering, corners, edges, and surface. A pre-screen can organize the second look. It cannot issue an official grade. What do you check first?

A sharp photo can still leave a surface detail hidden by glare.
Tilt the light and take a second image from a slightly different angle. Image quality matters for any photo-based condition pre-screen.

Quick collector question:
When a card looks clean at first glance, what do you inspect first—edges, surface, corners or centering?
The answer says a lot about the defects you are most likely to miss.
CardGrade is back on X: practical condition education, no hype.
Four easy-to-miss defects: edge whitening, surface lines, touched corners and uneven centering.
Photo-based estimate, not an official grade. Image quality and unseen defects matter.
