you shouldn’t be watching “horror films where the killer has a knife” in any capacity. you shouldn’t be watching “comedy skit on instagram reels” in any capacity. you shouldn’t be watching “3 hours of silence broken up by an occasional fart” in any capacity.

yeah what we’re not going to do is call the franchise started on a shoestring budget, where the traps are built to work irl and filled to the brim with human-made art & creativity, “lacking in artistic integrity.”
🔪 audra/quinn❓@carouselshotgunOct 22
wow remember this trap from SAW VI? the incomprehensible AI-generated peekaboo contraption???? this bullshit is apparently official btw

you don’t have to like the SAW movies to see that they are creative and most of the time built with a clear artistic vision. watch the behind the scenes stuff and you can tell just how much work, care and research went into building everything for every single film.

i say most of the time bc 3D feels very muddy with its artistic vision considering it was meant to be 2 films, but even then, it’s still creative and you can tell the cast and crew tried. saying “it’s SAW ofc they’d use AI” is a disservice to the franchise even if u hate it
