The difference between good players and great players is often one simple habit:
Doing the extra work.
Champions don't wait for motivation—they build discipline. 🏀

One of the easiest mistakes in education is treating a missing skill like a character flaw.
A missed deadline becomes “irresponsible.”
Disorganization becomes “lazy.”
A poor reaction becomes “immature.”
Sometimes that interpretation is accurate. Sometimes it is not.
The better question is: Has this student actually been taught the skill we are expecting them to use?
Time management, prioritization, organization, communication, and self-regulation do not appear automatically because a student reaches a certain grade level.
Support and accountability can exist at the same time.
Teach the skill. Hold the standard. Then give students repeated chances to practice both.

The role of a leader is to create an environment in which great ideas can happen.

Juniors @cc25guard2027, @zackpearson223, and @loganmorrish11 make a dynamic scoring attack. All 3 can score from all 3 levels and truly play the right way. On the defensive end, they can rebound at a high level and push the ball.
They have the weekend off before attacking Prep Hoops “Live” in Chicago, ILL.

Lakeland’s @cc25guard2027 has had a great start to our spring season!
Carson has bought into what we are trying to accomplish on both ends of the floor. We are playing great team basketball, and Carson is a big factor into that. Carson’s jump shot has been a game changer for us.
Most importantly, Carson loves to compete and wants to win.
