Letter from the Editor: Thanks for the memories, lessons and support from you all over the past two years at @kstatecollegian! Here’s my final reflection on it all: kstatecollegian.com/2024/05/…
Very unique battle of heavyweights tonight, last year’s 4A champion taking on last year’s 5A champion. It’s undefeated Kapaun against Salina Central in a win-or-go-home playoff match. Highlights tonight on the #CatchItKansas show, right after 12 News at 10!
The weather is gloomy… but I’m not, it’s the first week of high school playoffs! Heights looking for revenge against Southeast, who beat the Falcons 46-14 just two weeks ago. Highlights tonight on the #CatchItKansas show right after @KWCH12 at 10.
Bishop Carroll is DOMINATING 😳 28-0 and the first quarter isn’t even over. The latest touchdown: this Jonah Mull dime to Hank Hartman, who refused to be caught! This and more tonight on #CatchItKansas.
Final week of regular season high school football! Pittsburg making the trip to Bishop Carroll, the Eagles with only one loss to No. 1 Kapaun while the Purple Dragons have dropped their last four. Highlights tonight on the #CatchItKansas show after 12 News at 10!

Politics aside, today I had the incredibly rare opportunity to interview the President of the United States in an exclusive interview.
I could only ask 3 questions but this was the time to take real questions we have heard from many of you and ask President Trump
Just a wild play on a wild night, so cool to get to watch it happen in real time
ICYMI: The #CatchItKansas play of the week winner for week 6 of the regular season, goes to the Collegiate Spartans for the tip drill! 🏈⚔️
Landon Langston connected with Mason Bond (with some help from the defender!) for an 80-yard touchdown. It helped @WCSKS upset No. 2 Cheney
Gunslinger duel! Hesston’s Jerick Humphreys finds Gavin Larson 40 yards downfield for a touchdown! Swathers right back in it, but a missed extra point leaves them down 7-6.
Wamego strikes first! Check out this cool roll out from Logan Fulton into connecting with Caysen Ingalls. Exciting game so far in Hesston!
Undefeated Hesston climbs to No. 2 in 3A. Can they muscle past the No. 5 team in 4A? We’ll have highlights from Hesston against Wamego tonight on the #CatchitKansas show right after KWCH 12 News at 10!

After battling back from an ACL injury, Washburn Rural’s Maddie Vickery is now ready to hit the college ranks and suit up for K-State 🟣⚪️
She will graduate early and be ready to play with the Wildcats this winter. Here’s her first game back for the Junior Blues last season ⤵️

Highlights from last night! This game was electric! Landon Langston can throw the rock folks.
UPSET ALERT: Unranked Wichita Collegiate (@WCSKSFootball) blows out No. 2 Cheney for major upset. #CatchItKansas catchitkansas.com/2026/10/10…
It keeps getting better! Jai Johnson swerves right around traffic for a 60 yarder! Collegiate up against No. 2 Cheney, 28-15 with four left to go in the second quarter.
So far we’ve had:
An end zone interception
An 80-yard touchdown
A kick return to the house
This game is ELECTRIC! Can’t wait to share highlights on here tonight after the shows :)
My favorite holiday: Friday Football! After holding their own against Andale last week, Cheney looks to get back in the win column against a hungry Collegiate squad! Highlights as always tonight on the #CatchItKansas show right after KWCH 12 News at 10!
