In 2011, a woman's body was discovered in a California vineyard. The circumstances were unlike anything investigators had encountered before. Whoever was responsible had seemingly gone to extraordinary lengths to conceal her identity. For more than a decade, she was known only as Jane Doe. Then detectives finally got a name: Ada. But identifying her was only the beginning. From Olivia LaVoice, the creator of The Bakersfield Three, comes Ada, a seven-part investigative series from Casefile Presents. Coming October 26.

This week we remember... Case 137: Arlis Perry 19-year-old Arlis Perry took her Christian faith seriously. On the night of October 12, 1974, after an argument with her husband, Bruce, she went to Stanford Memorial Church to pray. When she failed to return, Bruce reported her missing. In the early hours of the morning, night watchman Stephen Crawford discovered Arlis brutally murdered in what appeared to be a satanic ritual. With several other young women murdered near Stanford University in recent years, investigators questioned whether her death was an isolated attack or part of something bigger. casefilepodcast.com/case-137…
