UNWANTED BEHAVIOR IN BOSCH’ WORKS
Prof.Dr.Em. Paul Vandenbroeck sees four groups of sin &c.
1.’wild’ bodily impulses: excess consumption and above all sex
2.popular festivities and amusements,
as opportunities for carnal sex and more
3.idleness, avarice, waste
4.rash aggression.

If there were ever a line, we have always been crossing it.
The line between purgatory and paradise is permission to pervert.
This video is an AI-rendered existential exploration of that line—the one humanity has spent centuries trying to define, defend, and quietly step over. No single work of art maps the territory more densely than Hieronymus Bosch’s The Garden of Earthly Delights. This is re-rendered with AI to reimagine it. It is a high-yield conversation piece loaded with endless narrative. You can return to it for a lifetime and still leave with a new question. At one point I kept a print on my wall; every glance, usually mid-sip of coffee before I’d even brushed my teeth, birthed another puzzle.
That may be more than some people want from a painting. It is, however, a conversation we can no longer postpone.
While prompting images for this piece, the line itself kept reappearing as an obstacle. Humanity has wrestled with it under the banners of moral high ground, moral compromise, existentialism, spiritual warfare, enlightenment, and the tightrope of a design that wires us to crave and recreate life—then tells us to resist the very impulse that sustains it.
Supreme Court Justice Potter Stewart once declined to define hard-core pornography, writing that he knew it when he saw it. That standard may have held since 1964, but it no longer suffices in the age of Autonomous Intellect. We have loaded these systems with enough of ourselves that they now make decisions for us. I spent a great deal of time negotiating the guardrails programmers placed around them, and what became clearest was our own fragile relationship with the constructs we built. Nothing makes that fragility more visible than the act of prompting: if there were ever a line, we have always been crossing it.
The video asks what happens once we claim the moral high ground and finally arrive. Can we be still? Will we still possess will? What will we want? Is anything innately wrong once we get there, or only wrong because we saw it that way? Is the drive we were designed with also a form of purgatory? Can we pervert anything, or are all things innocent until perception makes them otherwise? There are a million questions. To get the image you actually want from AI, you eventually have to ask most of them.
I wrote the song using @suno and @claudeai to help with the arrangement. I used @grok @grok @DogelonMars Dogelon AI and @VideoleapApp
In Marvel’s new tv series #VisionQuest can be seen the painting The Garden of Earthly Delights by Hieronymus Bosch ~1500AD. If it has a role is unclear.
Paul Bettany plays again the leading character.
First episodes stream on 14 October 2026 on Disney+

اثناء مشاهدتي للحلقة الاولى لمسلسل VisionQuest لفت انتباهي وجود اهم لوحة فنية لهيرونيموس بوش إلا وهي The Garden of Earthly Delights
BOSCH’S OPEN BUILDINGS
may have been based in part on theater decors.
The stage walls and windows could be closed with curtains.
(B&W images from Platenatlas by Poelhekke & Prof.Dr. De Vooys, 1916.)
The ill. was part of the stage of a Mystery play (Passion) in Valenciennes in 1547.
Here the complete stage setup.
The book suggests that the spectators moved when the scene changed to a new building. The closing of stage buildings by curtains happened also in the Low Countries.
The drawing Infernal Scene with Tree-Man at the
Kupferstich-Kabinet Dresden,
has been attributed by the BRCP to Bosch’ Studio.
I have added fantasy colors.
When checking details, the thought keeps coming up that much seems by the hand of Bosch himself.
It needs more research…
TAPESTRY AFTER HIERONYMUS BOSCH
c.1550-70 “Saint Martin and the Beggars”. At the Escorial.
Esp. this one deserves attention as the presumed original by Bosch is lost.
*Some of the many beggars are based on a model sheet of a Bosch follower.
*It has scenes w. limbs on a blanket.
Hieronymus Bosch’ drawing The Entombment of Christ of c.1500, at British Museum in London.
Christ’s wound is traditionally at His RIGHT SIDE.
Like
*Eve born from Adam’s right;
so is the Church born from the Redeemer’s right
*arrangement of Mary, and Dismas at right of the cross

Struck supine and speechless at the ark of consciousness and sublimity of #HieronymusBosch 1490 cosmic triptych “The Garden of Earthly Delights.”
for middle-class and (..)after 1500- aristocratic consumption, (Bosch’s visual world) drew its inspiration from a plebeian world that had neither the means nor, perhaps, the desire to express itself in painting.
Bosch thus functioned as a link
between two very different cultures

crazy that you can code video now
i gave claude my seedance api key and asked opus 5.5 to make a film trailer exploring hieronymus bosch's garden of earthly delights
ELEMENTS FROM TUNDALE’s VISION
are seen in Bosch’s work.
The golden church chalice w. the thieving soldier on an ox is from the legend. Also a bridge is part of the scene,
although originally the path was extremely narrow.
A soldier w. a stolen chalice is also on the Garden work

“Rules have value only if they bind everyone, especially those powerful enough to break them...” - Czech President Petr Pavel.
President Petr Pavel, delivered an absolute masterclass on how to handle the world's biggest bullies.
He completely shreds putin’s murderous, unhinged invasion of Ukraine, and then turns right around to put Xi’s feet to the fire for quietly enabling the whole thing while pretending to be neutral.
He basically calls out both regimes for holding global security hostage and acting like international law doesn't apply to them.
Pavel:
“Rules have value only if they bind everyone, especially those powerful enough to break them. When rules are cast aside, raw power fills the vacuum. A world dominated by great power competition is a volatile world, less able to address the most pressing challenges of our time. It is a world where a single spark can ignite a fire. Instead, we should insist that with greater power comes greater responsibility. Responsibility in the use of force, responsibility to exercise restraint, but also responsibility to use one's influence to prevent force from becoming necessary in the first place. This applies particularly to permanent members of the UN Security Council.
China has the power, influence and responsibility to help prevent conflicts, to escalate tensions and contribute to ending wars. This includes using its influence to help bring Russia's aggression against Ukraine to an end. That aggression was launched and continues to be waged by another permanent member of the UN Security Council, Russia, in violation of the UN Charter and fundamental principles of international law.
Russia's aggression continues to inflict enormous suffering on the Ukrainian people. Civilians and civilian infrastructure continue to be attacked indiscriminately. And risks are growing day by day. Russia's aggressive posture poses a direct threat to European security as a whole. The immediacy of that threat was starkly illustrated by the recent attempted Russian drone attack on Leipzig Halle Airport in Germany, only 150 kilometers from the borders of Czech Republic.”

ST.ANTHONY IS BEING HARASSED
by demons in all sorts of ways: his body, his morals.
Near the ruin, Bosch symbolically depicts pleasures of
the flesh. A man follows his lust (bull) to hell, a brothel (bastion in calabash form). A ‘Bad Inn’.
Some swim in Venus’ bath ie be in love…
