This is needed in every state.
Illinois passes the first US law to protect child influencers and children whose parents post them online. Children under 16 are entitled to a percentage of earnings based on how often they appear on content, with the money going into a trust they can access when they turn 18.

I dislike like the term ‘special needs’ because ppl with disabilities are automatically othered and/or elevated. Truth is, I’m not better than anyone else

It’s really important to me that we raise the bar for disabilities to be independent, financially independent, be involved in sports, and do well academically. I’m tired of seeing stories where people with disabilities are inspiring for just living.?

I came in last more times than I can count at track meets but that didn’t matter because I knew I was improving and my family was proud of me. I learned it is important to show up and try.
Parents , Your children don’t need the pressure of you measuring their success in sports by; How many shots they take. How many hits they get. How many goals they score. They need to know you are supporting their; Efforts to compete. Being a good teammate Being coachable.

full benefit for full benefits.
Navy SEALs have a saying. You may find it helpful. When something sucks, they look at each other and say: "FULL BENEFIT" It’s an instant mindset shift. • Hiking and it starts pouring rain? • Driving and your car breaks down? • Working on a project and lost a draft? FULL BENEFIT. *** LESSON: Adversity is an opportunity The message is simple. Every adversity is an opportunity. • To grow • To learn • To evolve • To get stronger • To become better These moments forge us if we let them. The next time you're facing something hard, welcome it. Work through the process. Learn the lessons. Reap the full benefit. *** Follow @TMitrosilis for more content like this.

1. disability has made me a more productive person because I have to budget my time accordingly before I get tired. 2. my disability occurred at birth so…
So much of ableism under capitalism emerges out of two assumptions: (1) disability is the worst burden that could ever befall a person because it limits productivity, and 2) should disability happen to you, it’s naturally your own burden to bear because care is a commodity.

And yes it is my responsibility to bear because I’m my own independent person. :/
