My mom brought back this original painting from Jamaica in the 1960s. It’s decent size, probably 2’ x 3’. I’ve always been fascinated by it, and wish I could find out more. ❤️ I miss her.

Someone accidentally kicked over their water bottle and said the word “sorry.” SO out of line! 🙄🤣 I was sitting right behind them, and was shocked they were kicked out over such a minor “infraction.”

I saw this pic of my mom and pops for the first time today. Dad passed 10 years ago, mom will be 80 next month. I loved seeing this glimpse of their young, carefree selves. 🥰

Parents, I know you think you want your child’s teacher to tell you if your child comes out to them, but you don’t. Trust me. If teachers are required to tell parents, guess what? Kids will stop confiding in a trusted adult. 1/2

My kiddo came out at school first, and I THANK GOD. He had a safe place to open up until he was READY to tell us. And of course we embraced him. But he was so scared we wouldn’t. I’m so glad he had someone safe, even if it wasn’t us first. 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈❤️
