Most people are not actually arguing “both sides are the same” but that “democrats doing nothing” as you say is exactly what delivers us republicans who become more radical and fascist every time, which causes democrats to chase them to a center that shifts right every couple years. So don’t be surprised when a more competent fascist is elected in 2028 or 2032 because your faves once again did fuck all for people. Republicans move the country right, democrats normalize that shift. Nothing gets better. Rinse and repeat.
