This absorbing film is both lovingly and honestly made. It provides the rare opportunity to foster understanding and empathy, while never succumbing to the temptation to sink into hopelessness.
The Best Documentary Award goes to The Cave of Adullam.

Our executive director Nicole Wilson was honored to take part in @skillmanfound’s discussion regarding funding and leadership development challenges for Black-led organizations, and how these opportunity gaps can be closed.

Please join us in thanking Diamond Platinum music producer @mRpOrTeR7 for taking an hour out his day to eagerly share wisdom with our Keys 2 Life summer campers. All of the campers in the beat making module left inspired to boldly open their gifts for this world to see and hear!

This evening I helped our @Cave313 recruits meditate and release trauma associated with #COVID19. Thank you @rcwjrf and @unitedwaysem for helping us @theyunion still reach our boys during this pandemic. Together we made this virtual training a reality!

This is a great #TBT memory when my brother @TWooodley and Detroit’s own @MoTownPhenom came to visit our @Cave313 academy! They both transparently shared powerful life lessons and afterwards gave us tickets to @UFC 218!

Men—just because you’re scared, it doesn’t mean you’re not strong! You are a huMAN being, and suppressing the trauma associated with what’s happening now in this world is mentally dangerous. #Covid_19 #CryLikeAMan

During these unprecedented and traumatic times, it’s imperative that we improvise! This evening was test-run for @Cave313’s virtual training. The work it took to transform my basement into an area conducive for virtual classes was well worth seeing our boys smile!

Countless people have asked when will I offer virtual training for the @Cave313—well due to the #Coronavirus, I will be launching it for my current recruits this week, then will open enrollment worldwide.

Every time I’m invited to speak at youth events, there will always be a few boys who slouch in their chairs with hoods pulled over their faces—wearing their hoodies inside because of their emotional pain inside. #SavingBoys

Father’s—just because you’re not in your son’s home, doesn’t mean you can’t be in his life! Please learn how to #CryLikeAMan so that you can release the toxic emotions and trauma preventing you from being the father he needs.
