ALT Try positive affirmations. These are short messages to build confidence. You can write these, say them or keep them in your head. They could include ones such as: "I'm so much more than my course results." "I have worked hard and done my best."
ALT Try not to compare. Be kind and patient with yourself, as well as with others. Try not to focus on other people's results as everyone is on their own journey.
ALT It's okay to look into alternatives. You will always have options and opportunities available to you. You can speak to your school or college for guidance, or reach out to Skills Development Scotland (SDS) for advice.
ALT Remember your circle of support. Will you have family or friends with you for support? Or someone to call? Sometimes talking through things makes all the difference.
