The exposed remains of Magpie Mine are found in the Peak District. It was the last working lead mine in Derbyshire from the lead mining industry. It has an interesting historical past that includes the murder of three miners, and the Widows’ Curse.

We often get lost in the zoological archives and we found this wonderful bat in the Met Museum. It really old and lovely (like me)... Great Indian Fruit Bat (ca. 1777–1782)

When looking through the old archives, this little gem stood out as something rather special. This is an astronomy lithograph the Eclipse of the Moon printed in 1908, an antique celestial chart of phases of the moon in the solar system. Courthouse Collective Curated & Refined.
