How can we have had record turnout and twenty million fewer votes cast nationally?

Can we all agree on how ludicrous this is? "Hey, can you just give me 7% of the entire world's GDP so my AI can destroy more jobs and the climate?" cnbc.com/2024/02/09/openai-c…

Seiji Ozawa, whose artistry shaped the @BostonSymphony's sound for 29 years, has died at 88 at his home in Tokyo. Ozawa's tenure was a period of dynamic growth for the BSO and a reinvigoration of its storied engagement with new music. He is on today's #GBHMural in Boston.

It fills us with incredible sadness that Seiji Ozawa – one of the greatest musical minds of our time and ultimate master of sensuous sound – has passed. His rich and lasting recording legacy on Deutsche Grammophon has spanned over half a century, featured leading orchestras across three continents and encompassed musical traditions as varied as the American, Austro-German, French and Russian schools. He will be greatly missed. Farewell Maestro. 📷 Michiharu Okubo

There are 2 main differences between when money was digitized in the 1970’s and now: cheap, fast, always connected computers and essentially the entire field of cryptography.
