I also forgot to say, since it's the 20th Anniversary of God of War, it's been 10 years already since I went to @SonySantaMonica with my buddy @exefromgermany! It was one of the best experiences in my whole life, which also contributed to me being who I am now.

The best example I can think of is DMC. You can always stand at the back of the room and shoot enemies if you want, but you'll never get a good style score and it will make the game harder. It's also fucking boring.

I can't stop thinking about this tweet. How is Doom supposed to be played? I get what this guy is saying and I kind of agree, but I also play like the guy in the clip? Choice of approach is supposed to be good but it feels like it goes against the intended experience.

I grew up with first person shooters on M+K, I had high hopes for Doom 2016 when I finally played it in 2021, I wanted to hear BFG Division playing at full volume but it never ramped up enough because the game scattered the enemies too much for there to be enough action.

Unreal Gold and Unreal Tournament can now be downloaded for free, Epic Games just gave the OldUnreal folks permission to host installers for both games on their website. It'll install the games and the OldUnreal patches to make them run on modern systems without hassles.
