📌 Debt Interest Takes the Lion’s Share of Budget 2025
Sri Lanka is set to allocate LKR 2,950 billion (8.9% of GDP) for debt interest payments in 2025, eating up nearly 60% of the country’s expected revenue.
See how big this interest cost is compared to the revenue from key taxes and sectoral allocations like health and education.

Top video of the South Asian Aunty Kiss. That is, an approximation of cheeks, eyes all over the place, and a short intake of air through the nose by both parties. Not an actual expression of anything human at all.

මොන Authorities ද? Independent authorities මේ රටේ තියෙනවද? ඔයා Minister of Everything නෙමෙයිද?
අපි grand re-opening ceremony එකක් තියමුද social media ban eka lift කරන්න? එතකොට හරිද? Photographer කෙනෙකුත් එවන්නම් අපි.
I will never condone the blocking of social media. The availability of VPN, just like I’m using now, makes such bans completely useless. I urge the authorities to think more progressively and reconsider this decision.

The fundamental right to the freedom of expression can be limited under the Sri Lankan constitution ONLY BY LAW.
Law includes Emergency Regulations.
Has an Emergency Regulation been issued authorising the TRC to block social media sites?
A ‘request’ from MoD is not law.
