A few things here: first, this is a game of chicken, like an actual game of chicken. Abstract is scheduled to close on December 15. Minters will receive an egg on abstract, and on December 8th, one week before scheduled closure, you'll be able to "flee the coop". Mint is 0.01 ETH. The first to flee will receive half of the mint price (0.005 ETH) on ETH, along with their Abstract Chicken. 0.003 ETH will remain in the coop. Later exits receive bigger payouts. Anybody who does not exit before the chain closes forfeits both their NFT and ETH to the coop. The last chicken to successfully exit gets half of that forfeited pot, the other half is distributed to everybody that successfully exited (weighted by exit order). Some disclaimers: anything that remains on Abstract when the chain halts is unrecoverable FOREVER. That includes your egg, any ETH you hold, and anything else that you have on Abstract. The abstract the team actually reached out yesterday and asked me not to do this (bring more liquidity ONTO the chain), but fuck it we ride. After mint, you will be directed to the migration portal to make sure that you remove everything that you own from the chain. I'd recommend leaving $2 or so, just enough to trigger your exit when the time comes.

If you're holding q00ts/sniper's passes, hop into the discord and submit your wallet (instructions are there). You won't be WL automatically, you must submit. F&F will be GTD (will publish the final wallet count). Then you can mint based on your Abstract XP tier (Ethereal -> Obsidian -> Diamond -> Platinum -> Gold) Then public. Transparently, I do not want it to reach public (bots). Each phase will be short, either 30m or an hour. Probably 30m.

Still waiting on more details but it appears that an authorized Ledger reseller named CryptoBilis that serves the Philippines, Malaysia, and Indonesia has recently been serving up compromised devices. Unclear if they were sending genuinely tampered-with devices or just inserting premade seed phrases into the box. We'll have to wait for victim testimonies to learn more. For now be sure to always generate your own seed phrase. If a seed phrase is included in the device you've purchased or the device is already initialized and you're given a PIN to enter, alert the manufacturer and return the device. Ledger also allows you to run a genuine check, which provides cryptographic proof that the device has not been tampered with. If you've bought from CryptoBilis (or to be safe, any third party retailer) in the past 90 days, firstly you should move your funds. Secondly, I'd love to hear from you. Everybody else has nothing to worry about.
