π¨ THIS IS WHAT NAVIER FROM THE REMARRIED EMPRESS SHOULD HAVE LOOKED LIKE! SHIN MIN-AH WAS PERFECT, BUT THE STYLING MISSED SOME VERY IMPORTANT DETAILS.
Navier is supposed to have long, flowing golden-blonde hair, striking icy blue eyes, delicate but defined facial features, and an elegant, almost untouchable royal presence.
These werenβt even difficult details to recreate. A proper wig or hair styling, colored contact lenses, and the right makeup could have brought the live-action version much closer to the source material.
Shin Min-ah has the presence and acting ability, but the styling choices made her look further from Navier than necessary.
Do you think the styling was a miss, or does it not matter as long as the actress is good?
How important is it for live-action adaptations to match the original characterβs look?
