I got my Twitter archive downloaded so this is gonna be my last tweet. Will likely be looking at deactivating my account but I'm not sure I'll be going that far.
Twitter has been only social media I've consistently used.
It is a shame too. Had some genuinely positive interactions on the site. Hell, I only have my dream job of trolling Roave team members because of Twitter!
Elon's enshitification of the service has been about what I expected.
Honestly, I get more engagement about PHP, the subject I tweet about, with the PHP Community Mastodon. So, that's where I'll be posting my microblogging content in the future.

👋 Bye Twitter, it was good while it lasted. Sorry you turned into shit.
She's right, gamers don't want to hear about feminism.
But, they _need_ to hear about it. The rampant misogyny in the gaming community is maddening. If you bring this stuff up you're just being political. It honestly disgusts me and has made me highly limit who I play with.
There was joy in software development? I call shenanigans.

Ooof.
Not surprising in the slightest. But, still...
Ooof.
Oops! I did again, @washingtonpost:
I created a Twitter account pretending to be @SenMarkey (with his permission) and applied for Blue “verification.”
And once again, Twitter took my $8, asked zero questions and gave the fake account a blue checkmark.

Typical Alabama. City has problem it won't/can't solve. Citizen does something about it, city looks bad and retaliates.
Trap/Neuter/Return is hard work. The city should be working with them to help end their feral cat problem, not wasting resources prosecuting them.

The T-1000 in Terminator 2 was the pinnacle antagonist in the Terminator franchise.
Replying to @owillis
i guess im just saying it doesnt ever feel like anything in avatar, long after the movie, makes you feel like "oh yasssssssss" the way footage of the t-1000 running still makes you feel.
In-law I’ve met twice: You’re a computer wiz right?
Me, slightly terrified: I’ve tricked some companies into paying me to work on computers if that counts.
I’m in my favorite cafe in BTV and I discovered that in one of the walls people have left behind little bites and poems. Really cool. Can’t wait to be back here for real.
