You ask ChatGPT for advice on almost everything. You turn to Claude to get things done. You use Grok, Hermes, or Muse to make your life easier.
But when it comes to markets, you’re still relying on scattered information, social media noise, and someone else’s opinion.
That’s rookie mistake #1.

Then focus on finding more people with the same problem.
You don't need everyone to use your product. You need more of the right people.
One habit to pick up, if you're building a career in marketing.
Open notes in your phone, Every morning type in these 3 questions:
1. What did a company do differently today?
2. Why did it work on me?
3. Where would I use it this week?
For example:
- An Al writing tool let me try it before signing up. It only asked for my email after the first result.
- By then it had already earned it.
- Put our signup after the first win, not before it.
Sometimes the best marketing ideas come from paying attention to the little things companies do differently.
