In #academia, being a helpful & generous person is a sure path to exploitation!
Most 'team players' I know have been taken advantage of &/or are underappreciated by their organisation.
It's not a great career for 'team players' who find it hard to focus only on themselves.

On dog walk home after being away for half term. Incredibly impressed with the hard work of @ygcrebelmams cleaning up the plastic waste alongside the river. What a difference they have made and there were about 8 piles of these bags.
But also what a shame that the health of the environment and the Taff is being protected by a volunteer group and not those who have the power to tackle these issues at source @DwrCymru
