What if the law that kept cannabis illegal was designed so no one could ever prove it wrong? That’s the argument David B Allen MD makes in his deschedule testimony. He traces it from the 1937 Marijuana Tax Stamp Act to the 1969 Supreme Court ruling in Leary v. United States, and to the Controlled Substances Act that followed. Do you think the science was ever given a fair shot? Tell us below. 👇 🎥 Watch the full testimony: deschedule.earth/david-b-all… #DescheduleCannabis #CannabisReform #CannabisHistory

Descheduling cannabis and rescheduling it are NOT the same thing. In his testimony, Jeff Krajnak explains why moving cannabis to Schedule III falls short of full descheduling, highlighting continued criminalization, restrictions on home cultivation, and disproportionate impacts on marginalized communities. He advocates for removing cannabis from federal scheduling entirely to allow greater state-level control, responsible regulation, expanded research, and economic growth. ▶️ Watch Jeff Krajnak's full testimony: deschedule.earth/jeff-kranjn… #DescheduleCannabis #CannabisReform #DescheduleNotReschedule

It's time for our cannabis laws to reflect the evidence, the science, and the will of the people. In her powerful testimony, @fight4plants calls for an end to federal cannabis prohibition and urges lawmakers to take meaningful action toward complete descheduling. “We've known the benefits of this plant for thousands of years, and modern science continues to validate its therapeutic potential.” Monica's message is clear: It's time to listen to the evidence, hear the stories, and remove cannabis from the Controlled Substances Act altogether. At Deschedule Earth, we're amplifying voices like Monica's because cannabis deserves more than rescheduling. It deserves complete federal descheduling. With the majority of Americans supporting legal access to cannabis, it's time for federal policy to reflect the will of the people and move beyond outdated prohibition. Watch Monica's full testimony: deschedule.earth/monica-barr… Take action: Share Monica's story, tag your elected representatives, and join us in demanding that Congress remove cannabis from the Controlled Substances Act. If cannabis is a plant, why are we treating it like a crime? In his powerful testimony, @l2tsva makes the case for why cannabis should be descheduled, not just rescheduled. Chip highlights the contradiction of keeping cannabis classified as a Schedule I controlled substance despite its documented medicinal value and thousands of years of human use. He also points to the overwhelming public support for descheduling and argues that removing cannabis from the Controlled Substances Act is the fastest, most effective way to return the plant to the people, where it belongs. Cannabis shouldn't be controlled by pharmaceutical corporations or corporate interests. It belongs to the people. It's time to stop ignoring the evidence and start treating cannabis like the plant it is. 🎥 Watch Chip Anderson's full testimony and hear why descheduling matters: deschedule.earth/chip-anders… #DescheduleCannabis #CannabisFreedom #DescheduleNotReschedule

🚨 BREAKING: A MAJOR STEP TOWARD FEDERAL CANNABIS DESCHEDULING! 🌿 On October 29, 2026, Congressman Steve Cohen of Tennessee announced the Public Health and Research Reforms in Controlled Substances Act of 2026, a proposal calling for FULL FEDERAL DESCHEDULING, NOT RESCHEDULING! The bill seeks to completely remove cannabis from the Controlled Substances Act (CSA), expand scientific research, modernize drug scheduling, and eliminate federal mandatory minimum sentences for drug offenses. If passed, the federal changes would apply nationwide, not just in Tennessee. 💰 WHAT ABOUT TAXES? The proposal does not appear to introduce a new federal cannabis excise tax. Full descheduling could also eliminate IRS Section 280E restrictions for cannabis businesses, potentially providing significant financial relief. ⚠️ IMPORTANT: This bill has been introduced, NOT passed. Cannabis remains federally controlled, and states would retain authority over their own cannabis laws. 🌎 DESCHEDULE EARTH WANTS YOUR OPINION! Are we finally seeing real progress toward federal cannabis descheduling, or are politicians simply putting more descheduling bills on the table to give advocacy groups hope that change is coming? We've seen promises before, but will this time be different? Is this genuine progress or just another political distraction? 🌿 What do YOU think? 🌱 If Cannabis is so nutritious, why don't we know more about its potential as food? @LibertarianIndy of the @FoodFirstUS Initiative explains how decades of prohibition limited research and public understanding of cannabis hemp's nutritional value. The 2018 Farm Bill changed that by removing hemp from the Controlled Substances Act, opening the door to legal research, education, and new opportunities. Now, with new federal hemp restrictions approaching in December, the industry faces another uncertain shift in the marketplace, potentially threatening years of progress. William Henry advocates for the complete descheduling of cannabis and hemp to protect research, education, and future opportunities. 🎥 Watch his full interview and learn more about the Food First Initiative: deschedule.earth/william-hen… #DescheduleCannabis #FoodFirstInitiative #HempIsFood

Could federal cannabis laws be putting Americans' Second Amendment rights at risk? In his testimony for Deschedule Earth, Rick Anstiss exposes how ATF Form 4473 connects cannabis use to federal firearm restrictions, even in states where marijuana is legal. Anstiss raises a critical question: Could federal cannabis prohibition be used to disarm millions of Americans? “This seems like a very covert way to disarm more than 70 percent of the American adult population.” -Rick Anstiss This isn't just about cannabis. How can THC be classified under two different drug schedules? Dr. David B. Allen, MD, exposes a glaring contradiction in federal cannabis policy: cannabis has been classified as Schedule I, while FDA-approved medications containing THC are classified under Schedule III. If THC has recognized medical uses, why is the cannabis plant treated differently? In his testimony, Dr. Allen challenges the scientific and legal foundations of cannabis prohibition and makes the case for removing cannabis from the Controlled Substances Act entirely. Cannabis doesn't need another schedule. It needs to be DESCHEDULED. 🎥 Watch Dr. Allen's full testimony: 🔗 deschedule.earth/david-b-all… #DescheduleCannabis #DescheduleEarth #CannabisReform

If a law is unconstitutional, why should politics stand in the way of justice? Criminal defense attorney and California State Bar Certified Specialist in Criminal Law @josephtullylaw is asking a question the courts can’t keep avoiding. With over 20 years of experience defending individual liberties, Tully argues that cannabis prohibition should be evaluated on constitutional grounds, not political convenience. Tully challenges the idea that federal judges should determine which schedule cannabis belongs in. Instead, he argues their responsibility is to examine whether its Schedule I classification is constitutional at all. Replying to @nate_jurewicz
@nate_jurewicz, a pastor with Christians for Cannabis, is speaking out about the history of cannabis prohibition and the misinformation that helped shape America's perception of the plant. Did you know George Washington and Thomas Jefferson both grew hemp? Hemp was once recognized as an important part of America's economy. So how did cannabis go from a valuable crop to a criminalized plant? From racially charged propaganda to fear-driven campaigns like "Reefer Madness", the history of cannabis prohibition is darker than many realize. Nate challenges us to question the narrative, uncover the history, and rethink what we've been taught about a plant that has been part of American history since its founding. 🎥Watch Nate's full testimony here: deschedule.earth/nate-jurewi… #ChristiansForCannabis #HempHistory #ReeferMadness

For over 30 years, the cannabis reform movement has fought for one goal: ending Federal Cannabis Prohibition, not moving cannabis to another schedule. In this clip, @DrMesmer breaks down why moving cannabis to Schedule III falls short of meaningful reform and why advocates must continue pushing for full Federal Descheduling. While multiple bills have been introduced in Congress to remove cannabis from the Controlled Substances Act, one proposal deserves renewed attention: the Common Sense Cannabis Reform Act for Veterans, Small Businesses, and Medical Professionals of 2021. This legislation should be reintroduced to advance meaningful federal cannabis reform and achieve full Descheduling. 🎥 Watch the full clip with Patrick Moore deschedule.earth/patrick-moo… #CommonSenseCannabisReformAct #ReintroduceCannabisReform #FederalCannabisDescheduling

Cannabis policy does not need another workaround, another restriction, or another layer of federal bureaucracy. For decades, Washington has continued to create complicated policies around a plant that millions of Americans already use legally under state law. Schedule changes, hemp restrictions, registration requirements, FDA pathways, and endless federal rulemaking are not a substitute for meaningful reform. Cannabis should be Descheduled. End federal prohibition. Remove the unnecessary barriers. Let states, businesses, patients, and consumers operate under a clear and rational legal framework. Enough with the federal nonsense. DESCHEDULE CANNABIS.
