Wondering how you can help? You can be the person advocating for people like me. Push for more scent free policies & insist they are followed. Don’t use scented products in public, even essential oils.
Also, take the free @FoodAllergyCAN course: Allergyaware.ca
Running a spy birthday party for my niece tonight. 11 kids and we’re succeeding!
3 kinds of invisible ink, 4 clues, and now we’re almost back, ready for supper, “Spy Kids” training movie, and the sleepover ❤️
3/5th of the way to our school goal!
We are raising money for the Terry Fox Foundation, an amazing organization that has made a huge impact in cancer research.

Over 1/5th of the way there!
Our school is once again doing the Terry Fox run to support cancer research, and my class is hoping to win a pizza party!
If you’d like to support us, get a 🇨🇦 tax receipt & support the kind of research that helps so many:

So camping this weekend was amazing (minus my phone glitching lol this photo!)
But I think my body doesn’t notice mosquito bites until they reach the “I can’t sleep it’s so itchy” stage and ummm… I’m hoping this isn’t the beginning of ana but it hurts it’s so itchy…😳⛺️
Haven’t posted much this summer but it’s been a busy one. Lots of volunteering, taught an MFR course and a IFA course, did a one week summer camp with @LMSOttawa doing emergency med and gearing up for camping before wilderness med camp. Plus corn, and quilting.

I finally have all 1.2 million raw image files from my latest mission to ISS! Here is a sample of one of my favorite Milky Way photos, taken from the Cupola with Nikon Z9, Arri Zeiss 15mm lens, T1.8 with custom sidereal drive that cancelled out star motion relative to our orbit.
Only a few of the amazing sewing projects we finished up at the end of the year. Students could make anything smaller than their desk, as long as they designed, used rulers, measured, prototyped, cut fabric & sewed with me beside them. Epic math. 🥰#lovemyjob
We were measuring last week, talking angles and rectangles this week, and so all this month we are sewing! I’m so happy. So are the kids.

How do we advocate against this? In a health system with nursing shortages, nurses being cut is outrageous.
Pay the deficits, @fordnation. That’s the first step. And then make sure the priority is the front line folks. Don’t cut that critical care!

Fortunately space is big, the suit is tough, and exploring the universe is worth it.
For all my #education friends out there, I just found this classroom noise website: classroomscreen.com/app/temp…
I… may have set it too sensitive at our first try, and I’ll change the sound next time 😂 but what a versatile website!

Commentators repeatedly described yesterday’s Artemis splashdown as “textbook.” The flight dynamics were flawless.
This shows that getting Outlook to work is literally harder than rocket science.
Following Artemis 2 and praying the riding of a new ship through the atmosphere exceeds all safety expectations for the amazing crew.
Just heard the toilet get turned off. My favourite part of the mission! 😆

Yes - it's like riding through a car crash. The Artemis crew will do a massive bellyflop into the sea.
