After a relatively quiet weekend around the hospital, we were back to doing therapies today. The communication device (looks like an iPad) is absolutely amazing. Keith is working really hard and has to build up stamina with using it.
We also work at passive mobility movement to keep his muscles moving and maintain range of motion.
A huge victory over the weekend was that he is completely off the ventilator- they even removed it from his room! He is breathing on his own (still getting oxygen) and his lungs are strong.
I continue to read the lovely prayers and comments to him. He heard the song “Malinak Miracle” and thoroughly enjoyed it.
We’ve played the Huskers and Falcons games two weeks in a row, but we want positive movement forward, so I’m not sure we’ll do that again unless things start turning around in these games!
On Saturday they had him sitting in a cardiac chair for a bit.
This is a long road we’re traveling, but he is so grateful to be traveling with prayer warriors who continue to lift him before the Lord.
We thank the Lord for His steadfast mercy and love. This was all unexpected for us, but God was not surprised and He has placed us in the best care we could hope for and we trust His will. We pray for a miraculous full recovery, certainly it would be for our good, but we seek it to God’s glory.

🚨BREAKING: President Trump has signed the papers making Marco Rubio the official national security adviser.
Rubio has been doing the job on an acting basis since May 2025, after Michael Waltz left. He already is secretary of state. Now both titles are permanent.
He is only the second person in U.S. history to hold those two posts at the same time. Henry Kissinger did it in the 1970s.
Rubio will keep running the State Department and the National Security Council. He stays the direct line to the president on war, intel, and diplomacy.

Shabana Mahmood needs to be sacked.
It was only last week she mislead the house of commons and accused 12 people of terrorism, which later turned out to be untrue. She has not set the house straight and she has not apologised.
Today, footage shows that she is laughing with other polititians, about rapists and killers being let back onto the streets early.
She has a big mouth and she needs to go. Because when that clip of her laughing, is posted alongside a news story of a kid who has been raped by someone who got out of jail early, there will be hell on. @andyburnham
