This is a great document. While many engineers will miss the old ways, the job done well is not the same job anymore.
The good news is thereās still a lot of satisfying engineering required.

Here is Proton CTO's AI manifesto, that I obtained multiple copies of 404media.co/manifestos-fear-ā¦
I hadnāt thought about this in such a long time. What a nostalgia hit!
hear me out, for the real classic feeling in Forever, we need to revive thottbot, same looks and everything š„¹

Really cool approach.
Shifting more to the server side makes a lot of sense, but brings with it a lot of complexities when building fast paced, multiplayer experiences.
Iām sure thereās some fascinating technical details to this.
Iāve been surprised by the level of discourse about this in my feed today, that was completely seemingly absent yesterday.
Hasnāt this been quite obviously just around the corner for some time now?
We need more proactive discussion about the clearer enablements coming and how weād like them (or not) to enter our societies.
So many engineering orgs are in the same spot right now: everyone on the team is adopting AI in their own way, and pre-AI processes are under massive strain.
Itās a sad day for esports.
Thank you for the epic times, especially those early years as a young esports fan watching the rise of coL.cs. Iād love to watch it all over again.
What an incredible legacy.

Esports has seen such high growth, the majority of fans wonāt have experienced the early-2000s esports that I loved (which was still a long time after the earliest days!)
Classic esports was so much fun.

It most certainly was called esports, and it had bigger prize pools than many sports already!

Iād love to see the player count for classic Blizzard games this week.
Judging my timeline, there must be an impressive post-Blizzcon spike in progress.
Such a joy to watch these two fight it out once more.
Some early esports @StarCraft nostalgia that Iām glued to tonight. #Blizzcon26
So much wonderful esports nostalgia tonight at #Blizzcon.
@BossTossMC, Iāve missed you man. What a beautiful opener š
Agent conflict resolution will be an increasingly important part of AI-agent system design.
Lots of this is trivial in comparison to human orgs. The trickiest part being at the system boundaries and where agents know they are representing humans directly.
IMO anything that isnāt the documentation of facts will still benefit from being written manually. At least the first draft.
Great to hear about this working in practice.
Carefully curated review agents + agent powered risk based system (with named specifics built in) seems the right way to automate reviews to the extent currently needed to avoid PR overload.
We ditched code review at @DuckbillHQ (mostly)
About a month ago, we found ourselves with 60 open PRs for a team of five. They had been accumulating for a few weeks and we all had the sudden realization we were looking at two days of just code review.
