The beautiful Christian people of a Poland and their historical city of Kraków have experienced horror today. At 15:00 local time, a man drove a vehicle into Kraków's historic Main Market Square (near Sławkowska Street) and began firing randomly at pedestrians. At least five people have been killed and about 10 to 12 people injured (including police officers responding to the scene).
The gunman was shot and wounded during a confrontation with police officers and transported to a hospital. Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced that he is being briefed by the interior minister and that police are investigating the background and all circumstances of the attack.
