okuyama is a dungeon crawler in $kineko mura. every run is a choice between going deeper and getting home. you go down floor by floor, and every floor is generated fresh, so no run is the same twice. each one is a set of rooms: yokai to fight or spare, treasure rooms with blessings that power up your run, fake walls hiding secret rooms, and a tanuki shop that sells for koban. or you can try to rob it, if you think you can get away with it. every few floors, a guardian blocks the stairs. beat it, and you choose: → go home up the rope: you keep everything you found. → go deeper: better loot, harder yokai. but if you faint down there, you keep your koban and lose half your finds. five areas, each ending in a lord. past floor 25 the floors never end, and the deepest cats get their names carved in stone.

this is okuyama, the dungeon under $kineko mura. walk into the old mine and you go down floor by floor. every floor is rebuilt each run, full of yokai, shops, secret rooms and a lord waiting at the bottom of each area. past floor 25 it never ends.
