Sometimes as a photographer you can actually miss amazing events having your head stuck in your camera changing settings. My favourite new thing for the Aurora is to set the camera to timelapse, then look up and soak in the mind blowing show.

An auroral corona overhead at uk and Ireland latitudes is not something I thought was even possible until Friday night.
