One of the reasons why OCD is so widely misunderstood as a disorder is because most people dont even acknowledge it as a mental illness at all. People think it's just average anxiety and you can just "stop", but OCD really feels like having 20 guns pointed at you all day everyday

Something I hope people understand about OCD is that there's not actually "types" of it as much as people think, "moral OCD" is not a different disorder from "contamination OCD", they're more accurately described as themes, what the specific person obsesses over and they're (1/3)

and let it be known that the most queerphobic sentiment i’ve experienced in Germany was always at the hand of white conservatives. Germany can have immigrants or not have immigrants, the queerphobia has always been here despite immigrants. anyone claiming any different is lying.
