In a crackdown against child exploitation, we have this evening rescued a total of 149 children (26 boys and 123 girls) through our ongoing operations.
The rescued children will be transferred to Musulita Children’s Home, where they will under go rehabilitation, psychosocial support and preparation for reintegration with their families.
Note: Anyone found using children to beg, loiter, hawk, or vend is committing a crime and will face up to six months in jail or pay a fine determined by court.

The powers that be are hell bent on destroying the medical profession in Uganda.
Unregulated, subpar training, underfunded health infrastructure, an "anything goes" approach to health systems...and a quick-fix policy to the question of internship... all these are a recipe for disaster.
The Ugandan population is growing fast and a serious country would see absorbing 2000 well-trained doctors annually as a priority.
