NEW: Lane Kiffin on LSU-Alabama getting the 2:30 p.m. CT slot instead of the night game he expected:
"If someone thinks the SEC wants us to win this year after whatās been going on, they must have just been on Mars the last four months. So I guess when I look at it that way, Iām not surprised."

Posting a video when we were being led by a lame duck coach. Maybe we should tweet the interception fest in 2020. Dude whatever you think this UK team is they arenāt.

Over the last 10 seasons, Tennessee is 0-10 on the road when Alabama alum David Smith is the head ref. That is not a coincidence.

The penalties that took touchdowns off the board for Tennessee all seemed to be correct. But the Vols have some fair grievances with some no calls between this play and the ātipped passā non pass interference.

I think people need to realize just how chaotic college football is, especially the SEC. Everybody wants to act like Josh Heupel is behind everybody else, but I honestly donāt see it that way.
Every team loses games theyāre supposed to win. Every coach has bad losses. Teams go on the road and get beat. Teams overlook opponents. Teams have games where nothing goes right. It happens to Alabama, Georgia, Texas, LSU, and everybody else. Why do we act like Tennessee is the only program that deals with it?
Nobody in this sport has it all figured out. Thereās no magic formula that guarantees you 10 or 11 wins every year. You can have great recruiting, great facilities, and great coaching and still go out there on Saturday and lay an egg.
Iām not saying Heupel is perfect or that he shouldnāt be criticized. Tennessee has expectations, and rightfully so. But some of yāall act like every other coach in this conference is some kind of mastermind while Heupel is the only one making mistakes.
Look around the SEC. Itās chaos every single year. Teams beat teams they shouldnāt, teams lose games they shouldnāt, and the rankings get flipped upside down every other week.
My point is that Tennessee isnāt some program thatās miles behind everybody else. Weāre competing in the same league, dealing with the same challenges, and playing in a sport where nobody is untouchable.
Judge Heupel on the big picture. Judge him on where the program is going, how consistently weāre competing, and whether weāre putting ourselves in position to accomplish our goals.
But stop acting like every loss is proof that Heupel canāt coach while every other coach gets a pass when their team does the exact same thing.
Nobody is above anybody in this sport. You better show up and play on Saturday, or anybody can get beat.

Rare event. NFL data shows ~0.13-0.25 nullified TDs per game historically (higher this year at ~0.27 early). Poisson odds for exactly 3 in one game land around 1-in-500 to 1-in-1000. Percy Harvin's 2014 triple is the standout NFL case. College rates are comparable; Vols just caught a rough one.
