✏️ Accidental 35 mm point-and-shoot snapshot, horizontal 3:2, extreme close-up from the passenger seat of a moving car. An adult friend's face is turning toward the camera mid-laugh, too close and heavily motion-blurred, half cut off by the left edge. Hair whipping from the open window. Behind them, the bright window shows a smeared streak of green fields and blue sky.
Tilted frame, missed focus on the seatbelt instead of the face, harsh on-camera flash mixed with daylight, blown highlights, red-tinted skin, heavy grain. Clumsy, intimate, real. No text or logos.

✏️ Accidental 35 mm snapshot at twilight, horizontal 3:2, extreme wide view from a mountain pass high above a sea of clouds. A vast ocean of cloud fills the valleys below, and rising out of it are colossal towering cumulus columns, miles tall, like glowing white-pink skyscrapers lit by the last sun, their tops catching gold while the lower cloud sea fades to lavender blue. The car's hood and windshield wiper intrude soft and blurred at the bottom. A friend sitting on the roof is a dark blurred silhouette at the lower left. Dreamlike, enormous scale, crooked framing, coarse grain, slight softness. No text or logos.

✏️Accidental 35 mm flash photograph at night, horizontal 3:2, a remote mountain overlook. The on-camera flash lights up gravel and dry grass in the foreground while the deep blue night sky beyond is filled with faint stars over a dark valley with a few tiny distant town lights. At the frame edge, two adult friends sit on the hood of the car wrapped in a blanket, heads tipped back looking up, faces turned away and partly cut off. The car is mostly out of frame. Harsh flash falloff, crooked frame, slight blur, red taillight glow, coarse grain in the darkness. Messy and magical. No text or logos.

✏️ Accidental 35 mm snapshot in late afternoon, horizontal 3:2, extreme wide view of a snowy mountain valley as a snow squall passes. Sunlight breaks through behind the camera and a faint double rainbow appears inside the falling snow, pale and soft against the dark gray snow cloud. Glittering flakes drift through the air. The car is parked at a turnout, roof covered in fresh snow. A friend is a small blurred figure kicking through the snow toward the edge, back to camera. A snowy fence post blurred in the foreground, crooked frame, muted faded color, fine grain. No text or logos.

✏️ Blurry 35 mm flash snapshot at night, horizontal 3:2, a rainy roadside turnout. A friend runs back toward the open car door holding a jacket over their head, completely motion-blurred and facing away, lit harshly by the camera flash. Behind, a lightning bolt lights the whole sky and a dark line of hills for a split second. Raindrops frozen white in the flash, wet gravel, crooked frame, heavy grain and halation. No text or logos.

✏️ 35 mm point-and-shoot film photograph, horizontal 3:2, extreme wide view of a high mountain pass in early summer, a winding road with snowbanks on either side, jagged gray peaks and a deep blue sky. A small red car is pulled over at the roadside. An adult friend in a bright yellow jacket throws a snowball from far away, tiny and blurred mid-motion, face hidden. A blurry fingertip creeps into the lower left corner. Harsh bright alpine light, blown-out snow highlights, tilted horizon, crisp cold colors, visible grain. Playful, haphazard, beautiful. No text or logos.

✏️ Accidental 35 mm flash snapshot at twilight, horizontal 3:2, extreme wide view of a flooded salt flat mirroring a violet and apricot sky. Two meteors streak across the sky at once, one large and glowing green-white with a trail of sparks, both reflected in the thin water. A friend in the foreground is a pale flash-lit blur turning toward the sky, face unreadable, the car small and dark on the horizon with its taillights glowing red. Crooked framing, halation, heavy grain. No text or logos.

its about to be spam o'clock...... flux 3 lora vs. krea 2 LoRAs, both trained on @fal using the same set of 112 film images I took on my olympus mju i (mix of fujifilm, ultramax, kodak gold). generated on fal agent + always using the same prompt – here's the first one:
✏️ 35 mm point-and-shoot photograph at night, horizontal 3:2, extreme wide view of a lonely roadside gas station on a dark plain, its canopy lights glowing pale green-white. Behind it a towering storm fills the sky and several lightning bolts strike the empty land at once. The car sits small under the canopy at a pump. A blurred friend runs across the forecourt holding a jacket over their head, face hidden. Harsh fluorescent light, violet storm glow, wet asphalt reflections, slight motion blur, crooked framing, coarse grain and halation. Lonely and cinematic without looking staged. No readable text or logos.

The Faloween contest is live. Make a monster on fal, and yours could replace the “?” in our Halloween trailer.
You’ve got 48 hours to enter:
1. Create an original monster using any image model on fal, or ask fal Agent to make one for you.
2. Post it on Instagram or X, tag @fal, and add #faloween.
3. Get your entry in before [Wed, Oct 28 at 11:59 PM PT].
The winner gets $500 in fal credits, and their monster stars in the full trailer, out October 31.
A few rules: original monsters only, so no real people, celebrities, or characters from movies, games, or shows. The fal team will pick one winner. By entering, you agree to let us feature your monster in the film and our posts about it.

New work: @fal design lab presents a new home for fal.ai.
We redesigned most of our brand elements procedurally for scalability, consistency and efficiency, in addition to updating the web UI elements, a tighter typographic presence for legibility and contrast, as well as some surprise-and-delight elements. For fun. 🤠
Why the update? We needed a foundation that could grow with us: a clearer home for careers as our team grows, a better toolkit to tell our product stories, more engaging ways to showcase what our customers are making, and room for experimental and longer-form content exploring how people use fal.
So much more we want to do, but the fun continues~
