This seems to be the most critical paragraph in the NHS long term workforce plan. To deliver an expansion in training we need more placement capacity and a different approach. Universities have been saying this for a while and would welcome being included as key partners on ICBs.

Should carers be paid more? Absolutely - exploited workforce. So regulate the workforce, streamline with HCAs & regulate to B2-3 with L2-3 apprenticeships. Up care standards & recognise the workforce. Better educated = better care quality. All in an ideal world of course 🤷🏼♀️🥴
