I hate True Crime so fucking much. I just saw a video about "new evidence" in the Making a Murderer case and like 90% of the comments think Steven Avery had reasonable doubt This motherfucker called the victim's place of employment to specifically ask for her to come out to his property on multiple occasions, called her cell phone using star 67 to hide that he was calling her because she was telling friends she thought he was creepy, and then she disappeared after visiting his house and her charred bones were found in his fire pit and his blood was found in her car. The defense his idiot defenders have is that cops stole his blood from a vial used in a previous rape trial and must have planted his blood in Theresa Halbach's vehicle because random cops were mad he was suing the police department Why would they care? Would you give a shit if someone was suing your boss to the point you'd commit a felony and open yourself up to decades of jail time and millions of dollars in civil liability? And that isn't even getting into the fact Steven Avery burned a cat alive and drove his cousin's car off the road because he was mad she told people about how he was masturbating in her front lawn Between this and the new cabal of people who think Scott Peterson is innocent I'm beginning to think we should straight up outlaw true crime.
