@cole_hocker’s coach since his freshman year at Oregon was in the stands for his star pupil’s Olympic 1500m victory. Talk about a moment to remember. 🥲
Eugene has its faults, but there isn’t anywhere else in the US that can come close to replicating the facilities, weather (today was about as good as it gets for everyone) and fan atmosphere across all disciplines. This is still #TracktownUSA. – at Oregon, USA
Hard to imagine you’ll find a better hour of track all year than what we just witnessed.
Six track finals, six Olympic Trials records, and a world record to cap it all off.

At a press conference in Eugene, LA 28 chairman Casey Wasserman just suggested it is unlikely the LA Coliseum will host the 2028 US Olympic Trials.
"I would think it adds a level of complexity to our planning that I'm not sure is best for the athletes."

I know this might be a controversial take, but Track and Field should be an indoor sport. Much more exciting and a better viewing experience both in person and on tv. What if track was only an indoor sport all year round… – at Oregon, USA

Next year will mark 10 years since the @runmeb victory. His story, the story of the race itself and what it meant to the city and running community would be documentary gold. @hawisports let’s make this happen! – at Oregon, USA
