Season 2 never really explained except the King has a thing for his Mom, and according to Caleb, she is already pregnant with him at that time(that his Dad is a commoner). Question is, who told Caleb about this? His mom directly? or someone else? we all know in the flashback's that Andrew's Mother is brainwashing him to always thing that Caleb is a competition to the crown. Like why? if she knows Caleb is not a Royal Blood? something does not sit with me. I also have a theory that since Andrew's Mom is still alive(being the first wife during flashbacks). They probably made a lie about Caleb's real identity, letting him believe that he is forced into Royal being a commoner(not the king's legitimate son). It happens in Royal History. Competition.
