it was strange . even after being used to his usual solitude , the glow of a screen his only friend , lola's presence was different . she was a light in the dark , & even a smile forms at the greeting , crooked teeth showing beneath lips .
giving @codebIood a kiss on the cheek , then cleaning the lipstick stain . it's good to be back .

own meal seats abandoned next to keyboard , fingertips smashing each key with familiar expertise . it was better when she was near . at least , he was able to tell his head wasn’t reeling , or the pixels weren’t attempting against his life . he takes a moment to smile ( + )
currently sitting by @codebIood 's side , having a sandwich while he, as always , stares at the screen .
