Blockfest Africa Day 1, from my lens.
My session highlights, setup before the doors opened, sponsor booths, hallway conversations, and the moments nobody sees on stage.
Day 1 vlog is out 🎥👇
Getting @thallyio’s logo to show in Gmail sent me down a $990/year rabbit hole.
Got it working for $0. The missing piece was one Google profile setting.

How is the internet less private than in 2006, when the whole family shared one computer?
Back then, the internet was weird, personal, and all of ours.
So, we got your favorite meme legends back together to say it louder: What happened to the internet? 1/3

Introducing Vercel Labs
Tools for devs in the AI era
agent-browser, skills, json-render, deepsec, fx, just-bash, portless, vgpu and more
We experiment in public: ship early, learn from feedback, and keep working on what people find useful
We've been shipping under the Labs name for a while. Now, Labs is an official team at Vercel focused on exploring new capabilities and primitives that change what developers and agents can do.
Here's what to expect:
→ Labs products: maintained, supported, built to be relied on
→ Active experiments: moves fast, expect rough edges and breaking changes
→ Past experiments: ideas that become new projects, make it into existing products, or teach us what to build next

Wanted to build something like this myself when I noticed there was no proper events platform, but this looks beautiful.
@judicodes, well done. I have some suggestions

excited to announce that i’ve joined @AntSeed as founding devrel! 🐜
i’ll be spearheading everything devrel + devEx.
back in january, i had a feeling local AI was going to be a big focus this year. so i spent a lot of time learning, building, experimenting, and doing cool shit around it.
joining antseed was a no-brainer.
antseed is building an open, peer-to-peer marketplace where anyone can buy and sell AI inference, without a middleman.
just like @AmosMeiri said, we're doing for AI inference what BitTorrent did for file sharing.
imagine running an AI model on your own hardware, making that compute available to others, and getting paid whenever they use it.
now imagine being on the other side, accessing that compute and getting AI inference at a fraction of the cost.
that's what we're building at antseed.
there's sooo much we're cooking, and i can't wait to share it all with you! 🐜
NGL, this is impressive in all areas🔥
Can't wait to see what's next🚀

Have you seen @Uploadcare's new branding?🥺
Super proud of the work we did here🔥
Building products got easy. Running them did not.
What you ship still has to run, for real people, at real scale.
That's the part we've spent 15 years on. Today, Uploadcare has a new look to match.

This is very valid.
It’s the main reason I lost a $45k role back in 2022.
The hard part is figuring out what you want, once you have that go for it.
There’s a popular trader on this space who decided to target just 2RR on all his trades.
Once he hits 2RR, he takes the profit and he’s out.
Some people think that’s foolish.
“Why settle for 2RR when there was a clear opportunity to get 3RR, 5RR or even 10RR?”
But watching this video reminded me of something important:
You need to have a goal that tells you when you’ve succeeded.
If your target is 2RR and you hit 2RR, you’ve succeeded. The fact that the trade eventually went 5RR doesn’t change that.
A lot of traders make money and still lose it all because they keep moving the goalpost.
They hit their target, but then greed makes them think about what they could have made.
Next thing, they’re holding trades longer than planned, taking unnecessary risks and giving back profits they already had.
It’s the same reason that sometimes you can get exactly what you asked for and still lose it because you started looking for more.
Discipline is knowing when enough is enough.
Stay consistent and true to the goal, regardless of how many extra points you think you could have scored.
If it wasn’t on your radar, ignore it completely.
A missed opportunity is better than turning a winning trade into a losing one.

Not entirely true.
There’s an entirely different category of people like me that forgets that I was supposed to reply to someone
