Look at these two plays. The one on the left has a massive hole to the right on a gap concept. Williams just misses it.
The play on the right: Williams inexplicably takes a second cut the wrong direction, away from the play design.
There's others too.

105.3 The Fan questioned what Christian Parker brought to Dallas before he ever coached a game. 6 weeks in, the criticism continues.
I'm not here to defend Parker. I'm here to examine the evidence.
Coverage, assignments, execution. Play by play.
Criticism is easy. Understanding what you're criticizing takes work.

The Cowboys hinged their run game on Javonte Williams, and it isn't paying off. He isn't a homerun threat, which allows defenses to focus more on stopping the Cowboys air attack. Did they make the wrong choice at running back?

What is wrong with Javonte Williams?

Only 20% of his runs have come against 8+ in box.
PFF through wk 5, out of 35 RBs with 40+ carries: Run grade: 63.9, 26th.
Yards after contact: 2.7 per carry, 23rd.
Forced missed tackles: 8 on 74 carries, about one every 9 rushes, 29th.
Overall: 3.7 yards per carry (22nd) and 5 explosive runs (22nd).

ELITE OFFENSES THAT GOT FIGURED OUT
Los Angeles Rams (2018 → 2019)
#2 → #11 scoring offense
Defenses copied the Super Bowl blueprint: split-safety shells, disguise, force Jared Goff post-snap. Play-action timing disrupted.
👉 Blueprint exposed
Atlanta Falcons (2016 → 2017)
#1 → #15 scoring offense
Explosives removed. Deep shots off play-action taken away. Forced long drives = inefficiency.
👉 Explosives erased
Carolina Panthers (2015 → 2016)
#1 → #15 scoring offense
Edge discipline vs Cam Newton. QB run game contained → forced into dropback offense.
👉 Option contained
Philadelphia Eagles (2017 → 2018)
#3 → #18 scoring offense
RPOs diagnosed. Mesh points attacked. Slants/glance routes jumped.
👉 RPO solved
Arizona Cardinals (2021 → 2022)
Top 5 → bottom 10
Space compressed. Horizontal Air Raid neutralized. Forced tight-window football.
👉 Space removed
Chicago Bears (2018 → 2019)
#9 → #29 offense
Misdirection/gimmicks ignored. Forced Mitchell Trubisky into structure. No answers.
👉 Gimmick neutralized
