A movement that no longer demands to be taken seriously. Very well, you shall have your wish. Parading around in your knickers with everything on show while telling the world you are asexual. You're either mocking us or us you, but it matters little. This is oppression as a leisure activity, a bourgeois gender gap year pretending to be one of the gays. A fundamental misuse of our public and political space which ought to be given over to protesting state sponsored castration in gender abattoirs but instead we play host to your vapid and fundamentally silly claims of marginalisation. Well might you smile. You've taken the gay rights movement for the fools they are.

No other Star Wars show or movie has given us more strong, complex and fascinating women than Andor. And somehow this didn't cause any uproar online. Perhaps the key is writing great characters, regardless of their gender. Bix Caleen (1/8)

What happens when you don't suspend a student. A case study. About 15/16 months ago. A student is chronically disruptive, and is intentionally miserable to his teacher. The teacher is at her wits end, and meetings are held to figure it all out. Here's what happened 1/

This is the clincher, really. “You’re non-binary. Loads of kids will see you and want to be like you…” And there we have it. This is how it works. Kids emulate & idolise famous entertainers. They copy. They ape. They repeat. They want to be like them. They want to be them. They hear a word, a phrase. They think it’s cool. They then adopt that word. Why? It makes them stand out, feel special, unique, part of something. Gives them a recognisable identity. Yup. All fine & dandy. Punk, Goth, Rockers, Mods, Hippies etc. All based around how one looked & behaved. We all had our gang, our club. It’s normal as a youngster. Perfectly normal. Except this is not what non-binaries are doing. They are teaching kids that it not only gives you power & a victim-status over others, it allows then to take imaginary shelter under the unnecessary & superfluous ‘trans/que*r umbrella’. Protection from what??? Clothes? Make-up? Earrings?? Nobody cares. NOBODY. These hundreds of new ‘genders’ have hitched a unwarranted, unwanted ride onto the gay movement’s backs, men & women, who went through absolute f***king HELL to get to where we were just 10 years ago. These “que*r identifying straight folx”, who insist & demand they are part of a persecuted group are a f***ing insult & a slap in the face to those who, slowly & painfully, rolled out the velvet carpet, many decades before them, under VERY REAL DANGER & HATRED, for these vapid, entitled, insta-victim narcissists. “Oh leave them alone! It doesn’t harm anyone else? Why are you so offended by it?” Because it’s all based on a lie. On a grift. On a fantasy. It HARMS women, gay people, transsexuals. People who’ve really had to struggle, suffer & endure true marginalisation. It matters. IT MATTERS A GREAT DEAL. If one criticises Miss Thug’s behaviour, say, it gives one license to brand others as ‘bigots’. This is a very slippery slope. It’s a very sneaky way , carefully fed to kids in schools, on social media, by lobby groups, by charities, by governments of slowly breaking down women’s ability to draw boundaries & defend their privacy, their sports, their dignity by smashing down the barriers & the social contract between men & women. It totally undermines gay people who are tethered to the alphabet spaghetti Q+ mess, whether they like it or not. We’ve worked for years for mutual respect, equality & understanding. And it’s utterly galling to see all that gruelling work thrown away by a fledgling, false but deeply imbedded, ideology. A cow has very little to worry about if it wanders into a vegan restaurant, stuffed with hungry diners. God help the poor moo if it haplessly wanders into a steakhouse….

Irish people are getting sick of this shit and when it ultimately leads to people becoming more socially conservative (there’s evidence that is is already happening in Ireland), it’ll have no impact on her and her boyfriend who will just drop the label queer and continue to be a heterosexual couple. It’s actual gay people who just want to live their lives who will suffer the backlash.
"I'm a queer" she says, and her boyfriend whoops.

Marriage Equality in Thailand! Thailand’s lower house passed, on Wednesday, the Marriage Equality Bill which will make it the first country in South East Asia to legalize same-sex marriage. The vote sailed through with a landslide 399 for and only 10 against, effectively bypassing any potential upper house veto. The bill’s passage is a significant victory for LGBTQ+ advocacy groups in Thailand, who have been campaigning for marriage equality for years. It represents not just a legal change, but a profound statement of inclusion and acceptance in a society known for its vibrant and diverse LGBTQ+ community. Thailand has long been a destination for LGBTQ+ tourism. However, until now, the legal recognition of same-sex unions had lagged behind societal acceptance. With this legislative victory, Thailand becomes one of the few countries in Asia to recognize same-sex marriage, joining the ranks of Taiwan, which made history in May 2019 by becoming the first place in Asia to legalize same-sex marriage. Regional Context and International Comparisons Southeast Asian countries have been more cautious in their approach to this issue. Thailand’s bold step forward could thus serve as a catalyst for change, challenging neighboring countries to reevaluate their policies on LGBTQ+ rights. For instance, in Indonesia, the largest Muslim-majority country in the world, LGBTQ+ rights face considerable challenges, with no legal recognition of same-sex relationships. Similarly, Malaysia has strict laws against homosexuality. On the other hand, the Philippines has shown some openness towards the LGBTQ+ community, though it has yet to legalize same-sex marriage. Vietnam has taken steps to abolish fines for same-sex weddings, a move towards tolerance, though it stops short of legal recognition. The Economic Implications Beyond the social and cultural significance, the legalization of same-sex marriage in Thailand could have substantial economic implications. The LGBTQ+ tourism sector, already a significant part of Thailand’s tourism industry, is likely to see a boost from this development. Legal recognition of same-sex marriages enhances Thailand’s reputation as an inclusive destination, potentially attracting more visitors from around the world. Additionally, the decision opens the door for various industries, from legal services to real estate, to cater more effectively to LGBTQ+ couples. For young Indonesians who never experienced Soeharto, here’s a little story: one day when I was in high school and Soeharto was in power, I had a pack of cigarettes and a book on Marxism in my school bag. All were banned. The book was more than banned: it was, and is, illegal.
