Didn’t end the way we dreamed, but what a ride. One of the most special seasons of my life with the most special group of guys I’ve ever been around. The memories, the brotherhood, and the love from Tampa Bay will stay with me forever. God’s not finished writing this story. Until next year. ❤️🤞🏽

897 days out of the show rehabbing
Lots of hiccups but was able to keep perspective in check for the long haul.
@JoJoGray40_ wrote himself a note during his rehab that said:
“Why do I play baseball? Not for the money, not to make others happy, not for status. Because I love it and this is my passion. There will always be a greater meeting to life, and my life especially. Always keep that in perspective. You play because you love it, don't let it cloud your mind as to why you're in the position you're in.”

One bright spot for the Buccos today: Khristian Curtis (3.0 IP, 0 H, 0 R)
"Just focused on Rafa behind the plate... just kinda zoned [the crowd] out as much as I could."
He has yet to give up a run in the big leagues 👏

Rhys Bowie was the best lefty in the Cape ⤵️
Bowie is a 2027 draft-eligible lefthander who made two starts for Bourne at the beginning of the summer, striking out 12 to three walks across 8.1 innings. He throws four- and two-seam variations of his fastball, each sitting around 94-97 mph and touching 98.
As BA's Geoff Pontes wrote, "As far as pure stuff in the Cape League this summer, it didn’t get much better than Bowie."

2026 14th-round pick Jaden Alba came in for relief in Palm Beach:
2.1 IP, 1 H, 0 ER, 0 BB, 3 K, 37.5% Whiff%
The breaking stuff really stood out. He has the foundation to develop into a starter, and I can't wait to see how he progresses!
