Canton has an interesting architecture that could be a great fit for #RWA.
From an investment perspective, consider the high inflation and the coin-burning mechanism, which depends on usage activity⚡️

JUST IN: CFTC lists BTC, ETH, SOL, XLM, XTZ and XRP as examples of “digital commodities.”
Under the CFTC/SEC taxonomy, digital commodities are generally NOT securities.
This could mean less SEC uncertainty, clearer oversight and an easier path for US crypto listings.

CFTC is now in ACTION for crypto regulatory CLARITY.
CFTC Chairman Selig says the agency is proposing its FIRST round of crypto market regulations, per WSJ.
The new CTX and CAM rules would create a federal framework for CFTC-registered crypto exchanges and recognize key differences between crypto assets and traditional commodities.
Key implications:
- Bitcoin and Ether would sit within a clearer CFTC-led framework
- Crypto exchanges could opt into a single federal regime instead of relying only on state licenses
- Registered platforms could offer retail margin, leverage and financed trading
- The rules would NOT force all crypto assets onto CFTC-registered venues
The move comes after the Senate failed to advance the CLARITY Act, with the CFTC now using its existing authority to move ahead.
Selig says this is only the 'beginning' of a BROADER PUSH to close gaps in U.S. crypto market structure.

🇺🇸WATCH OUT: Crypto regulation at the SEC is now in Republican hands.
The US SEC is down to just two commissioners after Hester Peirce officially left the agency on Oct. 2.
Her exit follows the earlier departures of Democratic commissioners Jaime Lizárraga and Caroline Crenshaw.
That leaves the 5-seat SEC with only Chair Paul Atkins and Commissioner Mark Uyeda, both Republicans.
Atkins was nominated by Trump, while Uyeda was named acting SEC chair by Trump before Atkins was confirmed.
This marks a major shift from the Gary Gensler era, when the SEC was widely seen as hostile to crypto.
A smaller Atkins-Uyeda SEC could move faster on tokenization, custody, ETFs, and clearer crypto rules.

🚨JUST IN: The SEC just APPROVED a rule change allowing 3x leveraged ETFs tied to Bitcoin, Ethereum, gold, silver, crude oil and natural gas from Volatility Shares.
The funds would use regulated FUTURES rather than holding the underlying assets directly.
They are NOT trading yet, with their registration statements still requiring final clearance.
For Bitcoin and Ethereum, this opens the door to significantly higher-leverage exposure through traditional U.S. brokerage accounts.

🚨BREAKING: The U.S. Treasury and FinCEN WITHDRAW two major crypto proposals targeting self-custody and mixers.
• “Unhosted Wallet” KYC rule
• CVC mixing surveillance rule
If implemented, the rules could have significantly expanded reporting, record-keeping and transaction monitoring across crypto.
Their withdrawal removes two of the most closely watched federal surveillance proposals hanging over self-custody and privacy-focused crypto activity.

🇺🇸JUST IN: Crypto exchange OKX and NYSE owner ICE have OFFICIALLY filed with the SEC to bring 63 NYSE stocks on-chain.
Their joint venture, OKXICE, wants to offer tokenized shares of the NYSE-listed companies, per Bloomberg.
It's one of the first major crypto exchanges to use the SEC's new rules for trading tokenized stocks.
Companies will get 30 days to opt out before trading can begin.

The US has made it clear: it is NOT going to wait for the CLARITY Act.
The Senate blocked it 49-50.
48 HOURS later, the SEC approved on-chain trading of tokenized US stocks.
Then the CFTC told Wall Street to prepare for MASS TOKENIZATION.
And this month, a $114 TRILLION Wall Street giant is set to launch its tokenization service.
Here's everything else that's happened since the vote:
1. CFTC sent its new rules for crypto trading and crypto markets to the White House
2. SEC proposed new crypto custody rules for advisers and funds
3. SEC approved the first 3x leveraged Bitcoin and Ether ETPs
4. SEC gathered NYSE, Nasdaq, Citadel Securities and Robinhood to plan 24-hour stock trading
5. Treasury is reportedly weighing a push for dollar stablecoins overseas
6. White House blamed the big banks for killing the bill
7. NYSE signed a deal to bring tokenized stocks to 44 MILLION crypto accounts
8. BlackRock, DTCC, Visa and Mastercard became validators on Circle's new Arc blockchain
9. Community banks sued to stop crypto firms getting federal trust charters
10. Bitcoin ETFs pulled in $3 BILLION in 9 straight days
And what's coming next:
- DTCC, which holds over $114 TRILLION in assets, is set to launch its tokenization service in October
- US stocks are set to trade 23 hours a day from December 6
- CLARITY can still come back, after Sen. Tillis filed a motion to reconsider
But one thing is clear, crypto is moving forward with or without the CLARITY Act.

🇺🇸HUGE: The CFTC has OFFICIALLY approved Coinbase's own clearinghouse, built for USDC collateral and 24/7 settlement.
Coinbase Clearing is now registered to clear fully collateralized futures, options on futures and swaps, per the CFTC's order.
Coinbase says clearing these contracts directly should speed up development of new regulated products.
It calls Coinbase Clearing the first USDC-native clearinghouse, though it will still use outside partners for some products, including its planned single-stock perps.

🇺🇸UPDATE: CFTC now lets US brokers invest customer funds in TOKENIZED assets and keep records on-chain.
CFTC staff updated their crypto FAQs today, adding four new answers and revising one:
Tokenized investments:
Brokers and clearinghouses can invest customer funds in tokenized versions of approved investments, if the tokens carry the same legal rights.
Tokenized government money market funds are included, with a custodian's written acknowledgment.
Swap dealers can now use tokenized money market fund shares as margin for uncleared swaps.
On-chain records:
Brokers, exchanges and clearinghouses can use blockchains to meet recordkeeping rules.
Firms can keep records only on-chain, with no off-chain copy required.
Firms on public blockchains must still be able to produce records if the network goes down.
What's unchanged:
Crypto, including stablecoins, still can't be used as margin for uncleared swaps.
The questions came from dYdX, the Blockchain Association and the Solana Policy Institute.
It comes two days after Chairman Mike Selig said US markets must prepare for "mass tokenization."

Poker games are not really the point. They are simply an easy-to-understand demonstration of what Chia can do.
What it actually demonstrates is that a Chia coin can support arbitrarily long, interactive state channels between two parties, while only the opening and final settlement need to become on-chain transactions.
That pattern isn't specific to gaming. It can be used for things like negotiations, auctions, or repeated trades — any interaction involving many small steps and one final settlement, where putting every step on-chain would be too slow or expensive.
So reducing it to “poker games” misses the actual technical significance. The game is the demonstration; the underlying capability is much broader. chia:native #crypto xchmempool.com/learn/what-is…
