Comic Draw

That’s the word-balloon layer completed for this tricky page. Just a few sketches now to finish it, and some inking, and some colouring, and some backgrounds…etc…

I keep seeing ads selling stippling brushes for Procreate. I don’t use Procreate, so I made some stippling brushes of my own in the @ComicDrawapp - really quite easy to do and I’ll get some good use out of them.

One of the pictures I drew on my iPad Pro while on the 16.5 hour flight from Perth (Western Australia) to London Heathrow last night/yesterday/today. It was a long flight.

I’ve been thinking for weeks about how I could build a brush in the @ComicDrawapp to depict randomly generated cartoon snow. My definition of ’cartoon snow’ is for each white flake to have a black outline - maybe Ukiyo-e snow would be a better term for it? Anyway I worked it out.

Another page finished. Hopefully I’m now back on track to publish issue #3 of my Buffalo Bill Amos Rides Again! comic early in October. All laid out, sketched, inked, coloured and lettered in the amazing @comicdrawapp as ever.

So that’s another page finished…

Pages 17 and 18 of book #3 of my Buffalo Bill Amos Rides Again! series of comic books. These two pages are pretty much sketched out now - the scene is where Lois leads the wounded Shotgun Shorten out of the Rom Valley via a safe route.@ComicDrawapp

Quite a bit of work went into this one. It started out as an experiment to test out my two new foreground foliage brushes - the latest two I’ve built in the @comicdrawapp - it’s too good to leave it as a test though; I’ll probably use it somewhere in my Buffalo Bill Amos comic.
