The ToR for the #hewittreview talks of accountability + transparency + improving outcomes for populations (people?). Hope it considers transparency so ICBs are also accountable to the people they serve as well as to DHSC + other organisations
#PPGAwarenessWeek should the Fuller Stocktake have communicated + engaged with PPGs? networks.nhs.uk/editors-blog…
New enhanced access arrangements in Kanani 1/3/22 letter don’t look simple to me. How will PCNs/practices explain them so as to “improve patient understanding”? Better than now?! CO-PRODUCED plain language versions of different PCN/practice options needed from NHSE? @NikkiKF
UK Health Security Agency Cold Weather Plan: level 4 (major incident) includes make sure you have loft insulation. Loft insulators coming out mid emergency?! gov.uk/government/publicatio…
NHSE have apparently instructed CCGs to share very limited info about when and where C-19 vaccs happening. Why??? Result = local social media awash with people unsure and worried and with misinformation, plus GPs still getting phone queries.
Patients need a say in future use of media instead of F2F GP appointments (“clinically compelling reasons” aside) + will have views on how to deliver autumn flu vaccination - see pcc-cic.org.uk/crunch-time-f… @LivButt #PrimaryCareNetworks
I'm still banging away at trying to get improved patient engagement and involvement in primary care pcc-cic.org.uk/crunch-time-f…

Note you agree, Dr Kanani. But point is that you can’t get local ownership if nobody knows something’s happening that can be owned. FIRST start with national publicity with facts THEN leave local players to run with it.

Do patients/local communities get to see how their PCN is doing? Eg can we access the new PCN Network Dashboard with its “key metrics to allow every PCN to see the benefits it is achieving for its local community and patients [ie us]”? #PrimaryCareNetworks
#PrimaryCareNetworks I imagine you’ve all read the “summary” implementation toolkit for online consultations – just 93 pages! Full toolkit is 193. As a patient, I’d rather you spend the time looking after me! Shouldn’t NHSE realise you don’t have time for vast documents?
Our PCN patients group has organised a launch event for the network #primarycarenetworks

#PrimaryCareNetworks Medical advice from a patient: perhaps you should all switch off now and chill. We want you fit and well for tomorrow!
