The @colosseum Crypto World’s Fair hackathon received 2,973 project submissions! 🎡 Over the next few days, I will share a summary of each category. First up: DePIN.
Here is my selection of the most interesting projects you should keep an eye on: 👇🧵
@openroboto - robot training data with verifiable on-chain provenance and licensing
@uavdotfun - drone prototypes with a dApp that shares drone revenue with the community
@computecompany - verifiable AI chip where anyone can re-check every result, plus a market to rent it
Colpero from @luca_trevisani - one shared map for robots and drones, with camera-based position checks against GPS spoofing
@captur_go - Upwork for physical AI data collection
@sanfdn - live search API for AI agents, powered by a network of real browsers
@Evoracharge - GPU nanoclouds deployed at idle energy sources like biogas plants
Honourable mention:
@HaLoWaveNetwork
@DePin_Chest
@hydrx_protocol

Two compact laptops. One 27B workload. 80 tok/s.
In an internal Qwen 3.8 27B benchmark, TDCC moved generation from ~50 to 80 tok/s (+60%) without changing the model weights or intended output behavior.
Distributed hardware. One useful stream.

TDCC Public Beta is live.
Today, we’re opening The Decentralized Compute Company to the public.
You can now download TDCC for Windows and Linux, connect your machine, and start experimenting with the network.
Our goal is simple: build a compute layer where AI workloads can run across distributed hardware without developers having to manage the underlying machines, and where accepted, verified work becomes the unit of compute.
This is still a beta, and we are treating it like one.
We are a team of just 3 people, and over the past month we have pushed 10,000+ commits into TDCC. From here, we are targeting a minimum of 4 releases every week, continuously fixing what is missing, improving reliability, and pushing performance further.
There will be rough edges. There will be things we have not thought of yet.
That is exactly why we are opening it up.
If you try TDCC, we would genuinely appreciate bugs, benchmarks, criticism, feature requests, weird workloads, and anything that breaks. Constructive feedback will directly influence what we build next.
We are building this in public, shipping aggressively, and improving with every release.
